is Andrew gay or straight? That's what I'd like to know.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | February 2, 2012 11:05 PM |
YUCK! Poje is one of the skaters who publicly promoted Skate Canada's "Tough" campaign to de-gay figure skating.
He is the male Michelle RepubliKwan.

is Andrew gay or straight?
There are no gay Canadian figures skaters!!!!!
by Anonymous | reply 4 | February 2, 2012 11:44 PM |
He's from small town Ontario, right wing shithead country. Somebody asked him if he ever dealt with people thinking he was gay because he was a figure skater and he said, "Yeah, I've heard that." No denial, no outrage.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | February 2, 2012 11:56 PM |
Total ADD. He couldn't focus on the interview.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | February 2, 2012 11:57 PM |
Andrew Poje is overmarked in comparison to more openly queenly Paul Poirier
by Anonymous | reply 7 | February 3, 2012 12:14 AM |
Does she really stick those tubes up his ass?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | February 3, 2012 4:22 AM |
I think he was one of the guys who agreed to participate in the campaign for Skate Canada a few years ago to promote how masculine and tough skating really is.
Is he straight? Or do you think he kind of pings?
by Anonymous | reply 9 | February 3, 2012 4:32 AM |
Straight? Hell no.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | February 4, 2012 4:39 PM |
He's purty.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | February 4, 2012 4:57 PM |
Since when does "masculine and tough" equal straight?
by Anonymous | reply 12 | February 4, 2012 5:01 PM |
How do you know, R10? Does he have a boyfriend?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | February 6, 2012 12:27 AM |
I just want to thank the OP for providing context to the name, letting us know who he is, and including a photo! Good job, OP!
by Anonymous | reply 14 | February 6, 2012 12:41 AM |
He's awfully cute, but comes across as slightly retarded, eh?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | June 27, 2012 2:35 AM |
I think Andrew is just a naturally cheerful person who may also be a little shy in interviews, r15. He and Kaitlyn Weaver are one of my favorite ice dancing teams. I am pretty sure that Andrew and Kaitlyn are a couple; they way Andrew looks at Kaitlyn seems like a boyfriend to me.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | June 27, 2012 8:46 PM |
Then why does Andrew ping, R16? I've also never heard the CBC commentators say they are an off-ice couple like they do with other pairs.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | June 27, 2012 10:02 PM |
I don't know that Andrew and Kaitlyn are a couple, r17; they simply give off that vibe to me. Maybe Andrew and Kaitlyn are dating and keeping it very quiet; maybe they are attracted to each other but not acting on it. Andrew "pings", r17, because he is an exceptionally good-looking young man who is an ice dancer. Many gay men and fag hags will want to believe an attracive ice dancer is gay whether there is any evidence for it or not.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | June 30, 2012 6:58 PM |
When Andrew is cornered and feeling threatened, he is known to whip out his penis as a defense mechanism. So he's fairly normal in that regard.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | June 30, 2012 7:40 PM |
A couple of years ago, Andrew was one of the skaters in the Skate Canada 'Get Tough' campaign that insisted he was straight.

[quote]He won the silver medal in Ice Dancing
Ice Dancing is NOT a sport. Why not just have jump-a-rope and skipping as sports or in his case mincing.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | July 1, 2012 7:16 AM |
Andrew is totally fine (for some reason, his nose appeals to me), but I can't stand ice dancing. Not as a sport anyway. I know to many, figure skating in general is not a 'real' sport. But out of all the skating disciplines, ice dance is the least sport-worthy.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | July 1, 2012 1:19 PM |
Chiclet-sized incisors.
Needs to file them down.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | July 1, 2012 1:28 PM |
I meant to say that Andrew does look hot in the pic at the link in the OP's post. He is 6'4, by the way.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | July 3, 2012 9:14 PM |
They asked him if he had to deal with guys thinking he's gay because he's a figure skater and he said, "Yeah all the time."
by Anonymous | reply 25 | July 3, 2012 9:23 PM |
Ice Dancing is more of a sport than it used to be.
It used to be much more corrupt under the old judging system.
But it now has many more rules and requirements, just like the other skating disciplines.

IFHH
by Anonymous | reply 27 | July 3, 2012 9:23 PM |
Yes, he towers over Paul Poirier, R24.
Andrew kind of pings, but as mentioned before, he claimed to be straight a few years ago during the 'Get Tough' campaign by Skate Canada.
Who knows what the truth is.
Unlike Paul who is obviously gay, Andrew is more difficult to pin down.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | July 3, 2012 9:30 PM |
Andrew looks terrific in that interview. I'm looking forward to seeing Andrew and Kaitlyn this upcoming season. My favorite ice dancing teams are these two, Meryl Davis/Charlie White, and Nathalie Pechalat/Fabien Bourzat. By the way, I still believe Kaitlyn and Andrew are a couple. Everything in their body language and energy says "couple" to me.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | September 13, 2012 8:36 PM |
Do you think he has gay voice? I detect small ripples of it.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | September 14, 2012 6:35 AM |
It'd be plain awful if he was gay and too dumb to realize it. That body makes my knees wobble.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | September 14, 2012 7:43 AM |
Those abdominal muscles are quite impressive.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | September 14, 2012 7:47 AM |
Andrew likes to rim and fuck my bubble butt
by Anonymous | reply 34 | September 14, 2012 7:53 AM |
Andrew Poje looked so hot during the announcement of the Canadian Olympic Team.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | January 12, 2014 4:53 PM |
He's hot. Few weeks to Sochi. R26 You're right, but still, politics is always there.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | January 12, 2014 8:48 PM |
I went to high school with the guy he's straight as an arrow.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | January 31, 2014 2:42 AM |
I went to high school with him and he's straight as an arrow
by Anonymous | reply 38 | January 31, 2014 2:42 AM |
Like he would tell a provincial twitmeyer like you.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | February 2, 2014 1:16 AM |
I like him with longer hair. He's hawt as phuck!
by Anonymous | reply 41 | February 18, 2014 12:40 AM |
Canadian.
Yuck.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | February 18, 2014 1:27 AM |
What is your damage, R42?
by Anonymous | reply 43 | February 18, 2014 1:30 AM |
Very hot. Easy on eye.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | February 18, 2014 2:55 PM |
Cut that hair dude!
by Anonymous | reply 46 | February 18, 2014 3:34 PM |
He looks like he gained weight at the Olympics. Fatso.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | February 18, 2014 8:48 PM |
Judges always seem to underscore Weaver and Poje, especially when they are in competitions with Virtue and Moir.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | February 18, 2014 9:36 PM |
How do you say his last name?
by Anonymous | reply 49 | February 18, 2014 9:56 PM |
I think the pronunciation is po-JAY, r49.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | February 18, 2014 11:28 PM |
[quote] He's awfully cute, but comes across as slightly retarded
He's not retarded, he's Polish.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | February 19, 2014 12:34 AM |
He's so dreamy. They should get an extra 20 pts every time they skate just for his hair.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | February 19, 2014 12:43 AM |
He does seem a bit "special."
by Anonymous | reply 53 | February 19, 2014 12:46 AM |
He's 6'3" and a major stud! Best looking male figure skater, IMHO.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | February 19, 2014 4:19 AM |
Call me crazy, but I prefer Weaver and Poje to Virtue and Moir. I just think they're more exciting to watch. They may not be as technically good as Tessa and Scott, but it doesn't matter. They've still got the advantage of having more exciting programs imo. And yes, it doesn't hurt that Andrew Poje is hot as hell.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | February 19, 2014 3:40 PM |
He is so dreamy. He looks like a Disney prince.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | November 22, 2015 2:46 PM |
Ice dancing and figure skating are NOT sports.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | November 22, 2015 8:13 PM |
I'd hit it
by Anonymous | reply 60 | November 17, 2018 9:24 PM |
Paul Poirier is so adorable!
Andrew and Paul together would be so HOT!
