It's also obvious he started openly pandering to Q Anon freaks by pushing the child abuse narrative about Hollywood to drive up clicks and ad revenue.

I posted this before, but a few years back a well-connected boyfriend of mine gave me a few gossip tidbits and I thought "What the hell?" and sent some of the dirt to the Entertainment Lawyer and the now-defunct Blind Gossip site, just to see what they'd do with it

The Blind Gossip site printed my stuff pretty much word for word but the Entertainment Lawyer added all kinds of details to make it more salacious than it was. I'm sure he gets SOME good tips, but a lot of it is really just elaborate fan fic (especially all the QAnon stuff and the Meghan Markle stuff, which is just ridiculous at the point, it's like he has a new blind about her every single day). As the article pointed out, he does way too many blinds per day for all of it to be true. He posts multiple blinds a day, even weekends and holidays

I bowed out after the Timmy/Shimmy fiasco (when he essentially elaborated on a solution that a commenter from the Survivor Sucks forum had posted). Until then, his “biographical” details woven into the blinds were kinda fun to read but years later I read it a few times and the tone was much more perfunctory and I read that the site was taken over by someone else. Still later, more recently, there have been blinds (reposted here) that are based on actual gossip (not blinds) posted on news sites, like maybe he counts on his readers not reading the news? Anyway it’s all right wing wackos, in the comments now.

I started reading the article then noticed how long it was. Maybe when I'm trying to fall asleep later. I was aware that his identity had been exposed through the legal issues with his former collaborator and paramour, but didn't know the depth of his ruse or how loser nebbish he is.

I have never torn through and gotten so much out of an article as this one. I used to go to his site maybe once every couple of weeks, and I listened to the DeuxMoi podcasts when he was a guest. He never really seemed to be as "in the know" as he wanted the public to think. What a piece of sad trash.

Many of the kindness blind items he posted sound like fan fiction people were sending in about their favorite celebrities. Back when Anna Faris and Chris Pratt were married, he did a blind claiming they donated $1 million dollars to a charity that provides eyeglasses to poor children in the US. There was also a blind item saying that Alyson Hannigan was donating money to a domestic violence shelter so holiday parties could be held and I remember a couple of people commenting on that post along the lines of "Isn't Alyson Hannigan a known cunt?" lol. One kindness blind that he posted many years ago was that Ellie Kemper was driving around LA and saw a woman with kids stranded after their car broke down. He claimed that Kemper drove the woman and the kids home and gave them money for car repairs I have heard from multiple people who work in the business that Kemper is a very nice person. As the podcast was launched in October 2018, he's probably made around a million dollars from his lies.

My final post on the issue for a while…

As the recent findings show, it was indeed the same guy from the very beginning. He's just changed over the years, and I think it can be summed up in three phases.

2006-2011 - The second-hand stuff. That's the situation Nelson describes in the interview. He posted stuff that he had heard from colleagues, the grapevine, message boards like this one, stories based on common sense (he's not an idiot), etc. The material is still relatively harmless at this point. He would also post tips provided by other people, and he gets regularly dozens of them through a single source who contacted him around 2008, the infamous "Himmmm".

2012-2016 - The site gets viral. In addition to providing Nelson with a lot of stories (from which Nelson just picked a few), Himmmm makes frequent appearances in the comments, sharing some of the "outtakes". Himmmm was actually a failed screenwriter living on the East Coast, with huge mental health and addiction issues. He loved to pose as an Hollywood bigwig, with various personas based on people he regarded as his role models or peers once he would have vanquished his own demons. He starts to send clues there that he's actually Robert Downey Jr or somebody very close to him. It generates a huge buzz about the site. Himmmm was quickly outed but Nelson decided to keep him as a source, and even to share many more of his stories, penning himself more material in the same style (based on people who had popped up in the Daily Mail). The Himmmm stories did strike a chord with many of the readers. They were extremely dark (reflecting probably his depression and his deteriorating mental condition) and graphic. They were about rape, incest, abuse, violence, most actresses being prostitutes, etc. The material supplied by Enty also becomes more and more openly prejudiced against women (check the actual Harvey Weinstein blind items, they were all about blaming actresses for sleeping consensually with Weinstein to get a career boost).

2017-today - The MAGA years. Nelson finally comes up with a solution to monetize the site. After noticing that most of his readers are bigots who hate Hollywood to the guts, he builds on that foundation to provide them with absurd stories that would validate their most ridiculous beliefs about Hollywood and get them to support him financially. That's content tailor-made for housewives in Florida, who are happy to hear that, if they're not famous like Jennifer Lawrence, it's because they refused to open their legs, not because they're prejudiced morons who are drunk at ten in the morning. He takes advantage of the Weinstein effect to start a series of deeply homophobic and antisemitic blind items, mostly about child molestation. In many ways, he's just continuing the fight started by Christian fundamentalists in the 1920s against the "degenerates" who corrupt American values in Hollywood. So, Tom Hanks is about to get exposed, George Clooney killed an underage boy that he had raped, Armie Hammer is (insert anything, it still works). The tone has slightly evolved since 2021, because Nelson doesn't want to be connected too closely to QAnon (even if he still tries to get these people), and because there's only so many "David Geffen bankrolled Leaving Neverland to scapegoat Michael Jackson, who is innocent, for all child molestation in the industry" you can come up with. And people want now to read about "Fat Markle" or Bill Gates.

The reveal of Enty's identity will definitely hurt his reputation and his revenue in the long term, but most people will stand by him for a while, just like they did when Himmmm died in 2019 and it turned out that he was in no way an insider. Nelson provides them with a take on Hollywood in which everything they assumed turns out to be the "truth", and that's all they want to hear.

Basically, Weinstein was trying to silence Argento and had hired a commando of professionals to make it look like a murder-suicide. Then, the botched investigation by the third-world republic of France supported the claims of suicide, thus establishing that it was murder.

Nelson had grossly miscalculated his audience. Because there's one thing that they hated much more than the idea of a murderous Weinstein (also, why would have her killed specifically, instead of the many others who reported him?), it's a trashy-looking woman. The comments would focus on her personality and her looks.

Nelson started to backpedal. He posted that even if Bourdain and Argento had an open relationship, she was the one taking advantage of it and that she had pushed him to depression. Sure, it was still Weinstein who had got him killed, but if it had been a suicide, it would have been because of her.

Then, he got a godsend when Argento was accused of grooming the lead actor of the movie that she had directed. This allowed Nelson to come up with this gem. And I'm not making up one single thing in the next two paragraphs. Argento had made a secret deal with Weinstein to be put in touch with his "special team", which is "very very good at suiciding people" (except that Enty had exposed them within hours, and they were also supposed to murder her). She would stop talking about him, and they would kill her accuser.

Of course, the accuser is still alive, but Nelson provided his readers with an update. That bitch Argento slept with a few producers to get some money and find a settlement with the accuser (once again, producers these days are very much into 40-year-old starlets…), while she's living with the guy who killed Bourdain and she asks to go with him when he makes a living and beats or murders people. She's not just a bitch, she's an insane bitch.

Then, for the time being, the readers are so deeply entrenched with believing this crap and even if he came up on record to state that he was just posting made up stories for the money (which is basically what's happened), they would still assume that he was forced to do this due to his enemies, but he's still one of theirs at heart.
