Guessing they lost funding, like Lucky's Market did a few years back.
Dom's was the latest startup by Bob Mariano, who led Dominick's in Chicago in its glory days (before it was bought by Albertsons and closed down) and then launched Mariano's (which was good until Kroger bought it and ran it into the ground).
They chased a really great market out of Chicago (Plum Market) and now they're closing down. Evil fuckers.
