Let me guess - Boebert, Gosar, Biggs and the insurrectionist gang all voted against aid

Large Marge and Pedo Gaetz have backed off presenting a motion to vacate the chair.
I never thought counting was a skill in their toolbox.

by Anonymous | reply 10 | April 20, 2024 6:12 PM |
Imagine if you were to read a headline: House passes 60 million aid bill to feed the hungry and house the homeless - in the US.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | April 20, 2024 6:12 PM |
The House Republicans are too preoccupied with impeaching everyone on earth to legislate.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | April 20, 2024 6:19 PM |
R11, if I were to read that, I'd be pissed, because that would only be a tiny fraction of what we do spend.
[quote]HHS proposes $144.3 billion in discretionary and $1.7 trillion in mandatory proposed budget authority for FY 2024.

Waiting for Marge's head to explode like in the Exorcist!
by Anonymous | reply 14 | April 20, 2024 6:34 PM |
Marge won't be giving Vlad blowjobs or lucking his stanky Russian asshole anytime soon.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 20, 2024 6:37 PM |
They should have passed this 6 months ago. Fucking Party of Putin.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | April 20, 2024 6:48 PM |
Time to take out the treason weasels once and for all - yeah I said it.

Fucking gash.

This is not a winning issue. These wars are unpopular. People want solutions to problems in this country.
This is going to create an opening for the far right and far left
They have something to campaign against now in primaries against incumbents
The failure of the Iraq war led to the Tea Party
The failure of clear goals in Ukraine and Israel - and a quagmire is a failure - could create similar conditions for Democrats
If Biden loses the election, the conditions are exactly the same for a intraparty schism that happened when Republicans lost to Obama. That created the Tea Party and that led to Trump.
You are going to have the Biden administration, the establishment and centrist wing, blamed for the loss.
The people who will be making noise will be young Millennials and Zoomers, the people who supported Bernie Sanders. These people will beginning running for Congress, and they will begin winning.

r20 = chronic thread-starting, anti-Biden troll.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | April 20, 2024 7:14 PM |
STFU, cavewoman.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | April 20, 2024 7:17 PM |
Stop boring us, crackpot R20.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | April 20, 2024 7:21 PM |
The Republican argument, that we should not anything abroad as long as need still exist at home, is analogous to someone who creates a beautiful interior to their home with every creature comfort while doing nothing to maintain the exterior. The roof will leak, the siding will fall, the yard become a jungle but at least the bathroom has heated tile floors!

Meanwhile, cuts made to the Environmental Protection Agency, the National Science Foundation, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the research arm of the Department of Agriculture.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | April 20, 2024 7:24 PM |
Is that in these bills, r25, or are these all separate cuts that the Republicans have insisted on? Do you honestly think they would restore them if not for aid to Ukraine and Israel?
by Anonymous | reply 26 | April 20, 2024 7:50 PM |
R25 seems to suggest, stupidly, that aid to Ukraine to defend its invasion from Russia should be on the back burner after restoring so-called cuts to domestic agencies. R25 is as clueless as those right-wingers screaming about the border wall.
Hint to R25: supporting Ukraine is actually more important than hand-wringing about cuts to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | April 21, 2024 6:08 AM |
R27, wow, the hissing really comes out when someone strays from the Official Narrative.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | April 21, 2024 6:43 AM |
"Official Narrative," R28? Mary, please.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | April 21, 2024 12:16 PM |
The only people who want to continue to hear whining from the Bernie wing, R20, is the Bernie wing. Even Bernie is revolted by you guys.

Of all the euphemisms for "tendentiously misanalyses the political situation," this has to be the dullest.
