Michelle Williams: ''Proud'' Of ''Blue Valentine'' Oral Sex Scene With Ryan Gosling

"I thought, 'I've never seen that before in a movie and I'm proud to be the first. Good on us for making that happen,'" Williams said.

by Anonymousreply 6610/02/2011

I kind of love that this quote dismisses Chloe Sevigny and Mark Ruffalo.

by Anonymousreply 112/30/2010

"The first?" Are you kidding me?

by Anonymousreply 212/30/2010

R2. I meant legitimate movies. And that goes for you too, Chloe Sevigny.

by Anonymousreply 312/30/2010

So who's give who head?

by Anonymousreply 412/30/2010

Didn't Viggo and Maria Bello do a 69 in A History of Violence? I'm pretty sure they did.

And their sex scene on the stairs was the best sex scene of the last decade.

by Anonymousreply 512/30/2010

C-H-A-R-M-I-N-G!!!

by Anonymousreply 712/30/2010

I don't know exactly how graphic the oral sex scene is, but I doubt she's the first. The sex scenes in the movie "Lie With Me" with Eric Balfour were pretty graphic, as one example off the top of my head.

by Anonymousreply 812/30/2010

So when did "good for us" change to "good on us"?

by Anonymousreply 912/30/2010

R9. It changed right after I finished sucking Ryan's dick.

by Anonymousreply 1012/30/2010

I will onlly agree with her if it is him giving oral sex to her.

by Anonymousreply 1112/30/2010

Gosling is featured with a full erection, so that is pretty groundbreaking for a mainstream hollywood film.

by Anonymousreply 1212/31/2010

wait...this movie shows her giving him a blow job???

by Anonymousreply 1312/31/2010

Ok, LINK TO THE PIX or video of this please, even though I can't stand Michelle Williams.

by Anonymousreply 1412/31/2010

I had no idea he's uncut.

by Anonymousreply 1512/31/2010

I can't wait to see the film. It's received great reviews.

by Anonymousreply 1612/31/2010

First of all, it's simulated. Secondly, "Brown Bunny" featured Chloe actually performing the act on Vincent Gallo (not Mark Ruffalo). It was extremely graphic, hard-on and all.

by Anonymousreply 1712/31/2010

[quote]I will onlly agree with her if it is him giving oral sex to her.

I think it is.

by Anonymousreply 1812/31/2010

didn't Mark Ruffalo eat out meg ryan in that Campion movie 'In the Cut'?

by Anonymousreply 1912/31/2010

Does Ryan come in Michelle's mouth and does she swallow?

by Anonymousreply 2012/31/2010

The scene is Gosling going down on Michelle. Not the other way around,

by Anonymousreply 2112/31/2010

"Black Swan," hello.

by Anonymousreply 2212/31/2010

Big deal. It's been done before. In A history of Violence Viggo goes down on Bello and I agree with R5. The sex scene on the stairs is the hottest in the last decade. Not to mention that Viggo and Maria are both extremely attractive. Williams and Gosling pale in comparison to them.

by Anonymousreply 2312/31/2010

They wanted to make the blow scene as realistic as possibly can. I don't know if they actually did it, but it looks close.

by Anonymousreply 2412/31/2010

What about me and Natalie?

by Anonymousreply 2512/31/2010

Uh, Body of Evidence? Hello?

by Anonymousreply 2612/31/2010

'Intimacy' (Patrice Chereau, 2000) with Mark Rylance and Kerry Fox.

'9 Songs' (Michael Winterbottom, 2005) with Kieran O'Brian and Margo Stilley.

by Anonymousreply 2712/31/2010

It's a depressing scene in a depressing movie. No gosling cock sadly.

That being said, i enjoyed the film. Oscar's calling!

by Anonymousreply 2812/31/2010

Jon Voight and Jane Fonda did this way back in 1978 in Coming Home. Not as graphic, as some of the recent stuff, but it was startling and controversial 30 plus years ago. Michelle is a terrific actress, but she needs to see more films, LOL. She's not exactly doing the moon landing of onscreen pussy eating.

by Anonymousreply 2912/31/2010

This movie was almost given an X or NR (whatever) rating.

by Anonymousreply 3012/31/2010

Usually women only get eaten out in lesbian films.

by Anonymousreply 3112/31/2010

So R31 movies are like life then

by Anonymousreply 3212/31/2010

Who cares? Scenes like this have been done in mainstream films for decades--she's just desperately trying to campaign for an Oscar that's not going to happen due to the fact that she cannot act to save her life.

by Anonymousreply 3312/31/2010

He goes down on Michelle Williams? Why? Why would anyone want to go down on her? Bleccch.

by Anonymousreply 3412/31/2010

One would assume he was getting paid, r34.

by Anonymousreply 3512/31/2010

Has she been to a movie in the last 35 years?

by Anonymousreply 3612/31/2010

"The scene is Gosling going down on Michelle. Not the other way around"

Didn't Kris Kristofferson go down on Sarah Miles over a quarter century ago?

by Anonymousreply 3712/31/2010

r37, ...no, that was Sylvia Miles.

by Anonymousreply 3812/31/2010

Jack Nicholson and Jessica Lange in PostMan Always Rings Twice had a pussy licking scene.

And didn't Basic Instinct have a munching scene?

by Anonymousreply 3912/31/2010

Didn't Sigourney Weaver go down on one of the gorillas?

by Anonymousreply 4012/31/2010

All these sex scenes, is Blue Valentine the only film to originally get NC-17 rating?

by Anonymousreply 4112/31/2010

R40, are you calling me a gorilla?

by Anonymousreply 4212/31/2010

Google%0D %0D Jane Fonda getting her snatch slurped in "Coming Home" is particularly jawdropping.

by Anonymousreply 4312/31/2010

there should be a purefellatio site too

by Anonymousreply 4412/31/2010

[quote]Jane Fonda getting her snatch slurped in "Coming Home" is particularly jawdropping.

So to speak.

by Anonymousreply 4512/31/2010

Uhm, I don't think MIchelle is getting an Oscar for best oral scene. Charming, indeed.

by Anonymousreply 4612/31/2010

Only if she gets down on all fours and takes it from a white man. Or on top. As long as she acts like this white man is better by far than any black man she ever tasted.

by Anonymousreply 4712/31/2010

Ewan McGregor ate out Tilda Swinton (beside a grimy canal, on the cold, cold ground!) in YOUNG ADAM; it got an initial NC-17 rating. Producers cut it for the US market for an R. It's an "extra" on the DVD.

The Los Angeles hausfraus on the ratings board do NOT like to watch cunning linguists!

by Anonymousreply 4812/31/2010

Frankly, her statement just shows how ignorant she is of her own profession.

I am curious about this film. I though Williams was very effective in BBM, but boring as shit in that last Scorsese film and totally miscast in I'm Not There. I think she's homely looking, but I want to see more of her work before I pass a judgment on her acting skills.

by Anonymousreply 4912/31/2010

[quote]Frankly, her statement just shows how ignorant she is of her own profession. %0D %0D Exactly. Actors really should just stay quiet unless they know what they are talking about. It reminds of Julianna Margulies when she was talking about a scene in her show with oral sex and said it was the first time on network tv. She obviously doesn't know much about her profession, either. Not only did the idiot bring it up herself at the press conference but she went berserk when she got questioned about it.

by Anonymousreply 5012/31/2010

[quote]Gosling is featured with a full erection,%0D %0D You are full of shit, R12. They dont even show him soft let alone hard.

by Anonymousreply 5112/31/2010

Wasn't there a quick passing shot of some Munchkins blowing each other in the flower beds in the Wizard of Oz?

I seem to recall one of 'em had a green dick ... looked like a curly pig tail.

by Anonymousreply 5212/31/2010

>>>This movie was almost given an X or NR (whatever) rating.%0D %0D %0D %0D I think that was because of a rape scene in the movie

by Anonymousreply 5312/31/2010

There is no rape scene.

by Anonymousreply 5412/31/2010

I think the point is that Williams is proud of her blowjobs, and want's the Academy to recognize it.

by Anonymousreply 5512/31/2010

[quote]her blowjobs, and want's the Academy to recognize it.

I wonder how she feels about extraneous apostrophes.

by Anonymousreply 5612/31/2010

Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers in "Going Down on Rio".

by Anonymousreply 5712/31/2010

Apparently Miss Williams has forgotten "Please Don't Eat Daisy." Doris Day never gets the credit she deserves.

by Anonymousreply 5812/31/2010

[quote]Gosling is featured with a full erection, so that is pretty groundbreaking for a mainstream hollywood film.%0D %0D I find the above statement more interesting than the history of depictions of oral sex among straights in major release films. %0D

by Anonymousreply 5912/31/2010

Red Road. Also featured the male lead with an erection.

by Anonymousreply 6001/01/2011

He did not have an erection. He showed more in Half Nelson in his tightie whities than in this. The most graphic scene was not even with Ryan, it was with Michelle's character's ex-boyfriend. Ryan character did go down on her, but it wasn't that bad.

by Anonymousreply 6101/24/2011

Ben Stiller eats out Greta Gerwig in "Greenberg."

by Anonymousreply 6201/24/2011

[quote]Frankly, her statement just shows how ignorant she is of her own profession.

My thoughts exactly. I wonder how disappointed she'll be to hear the scene is only the latest in a decades-old history of similar scenes.

by Anonymousreply 6310/02/2011

I was cringing through that scene in A History of Violence. It was so over the top. I really don't want to see actors having sex. I know for the most part it is uncomfortable for them which makes it uncomfortable for me. I like nudity though. :)

by Anonymousreply 6410/02/2011

I don't think the laundress should give interview, and I'm surprised no one mentioned Almodovar High Heels.

by Anonymousreply 6510/02/2011

R64 yeah the sex scenes in History of violence were pretty funny, doesn't the woman put on a cheerleading uniform in one of them?
