Jason Patric

He often flies under the radar.

What do we know about him?

by Anonymousreply 4705/05/2013

He's very close with his half-sister, Jasmine Guy.

by Anonymousreply 111/21/2010

For one thing, I didn't know he could fly.

by Anonymousreply 211/21/2010

Is it true that he's 44 and never married or had kids?

by Anonymousreply 311/21/2010

I think he was the one to take Corey Haim's precious flower, not Charlie Sheen.

by Anonymousreply 411/21/2010

He hates cliches.

by Anonymousreply 511/21/2010

He is Jackie Gleason's grandson.

by Anonymousreply 611/21/2010

He hates R4.

by Anonymousreply 711/21/2010

Ovah. Face it.

by Anonymousreply 811/21/2010

He and Julia Roberts broke-up in front of Jasmine Guy's house.

Why would they pick that spot of all places to break-up?

by Anonymousreply 911/21/2010

So he's a hetero bachelor?

by Anonymousreply 1011/21/2010

He admits that he's impossible to work with and a total asshole and that he's derailed his own career by being a jerk but has no plans to change.

by Anonymousreply 1111/21/2010

Too bad. He's a wonderful actor.

by Anonymousreply 1211/21/2010

Had a serious drug problem and anger management issues.

by Anonymousreply 1311/21/2010

He's a crap actor and is about to do Broadway again.

by Anonymousreply 1411/21/2010

what was that song that he was in the video for? it was from a movie where he played a druggie

by Anonymousreply 1511/21/2010

He played a druggie in Rush.

by Anonymousreply 1611/21/2010

He starred with Patrick Wilson in "The Alamo"

Jason Patric (b. 1966 in Queens, New York): His father is Jason Miller, the late actor (Oscar-nominated for [italic]The Exorcist[/italic]) and Pulitzer Prize- and Tony-winning playwright ([italic]That Championship Season[/italic]). His mother, Linda Gleason [Miller], daughter of the late great Jackie Gleason, is a Tony-nominated former actress who played the mother in the 1976 cult horror film [italic]Alice Sweet Alice[/italic] (which costarred Paula Sheppard and Brooke Shields as her daughters).

by Anonymousreply 1811/21/2010

That he's missing the K in his last name.

by Anonymousreply 1911/22/2010

Wasn't his younger brother in River's Edge?

by Anonymousreply 2011/22/2010

I find it hard to believe that he dated Christy Turlington. Or rather that she dated him.

by Anonymousreply 2111/22/2010

Verificatia of sizemeat and / or homo tendencia?

by Anonymousreply 2211/22/2010

They were together for about 8 years. Christy made a comment that she broke up with him becasue he wasn't supportive when her Father was dying. He still wanted it to be all about him. NEVER understood why she was with him but I think he was pivotal in her movie from modeling to University so I'll give him that.

OP - watch the episode of Entourage that he's in. Takes the piss out of himself and his rep.

by Anonymousreply 2311/22/2010

Jason, get the hell off my front lawn!

by Anonymousreply 2411/22/2010

If he dated Julie Roberts, I can assure you of two things: he has sizemeat and he probably now likes the boys.

by Anonymousreply 2511/22/2010

Hairy bubble butt in After Dark My Sweet.

by Anonymousreply 2611/22/2010

Jason Miller's son.

Ned Beatty thought he and Ashley Judd gave terrible performances when the three of them starred in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof on Broadway and didn't mind saying so publicly; comparing Patric's performance with Brendan Fraser's, who first did the role opposite Beatty in London, Beatty gave Fraser high marks.

His scene in Your Friends and Neighbors in the steam room - or was it a sauna - describing his rape of a male classmate to Ben Stiller and Aaron Eckart, is kind of hot, in a smarmy Neil Labute kind of way.

by Anonymousreply 2711/22/2010

next to Geraldine Chaplin, he has the most important pedigree in the performing arts.

by Anonymousreply 2811/22/2010

Is he supposed to be gay in that movie, R27?

by Anonymousreply 2911/22/2010

Why would anyone care what Ned Beatty had to say?

by Anonymousreply 3011/22/2010

He was so hot in his youth. Loved watching him in Lost Boys and that sexy/conflicted vampire thing he had going was part of my masturbatory fantasies.

by Anonymousreply 3111/22/2010

Will he ever get married or have kids, or is he a straight bachelor?

by Anonymousreply 3211/22/2010

coming to Bway in his father's play "That Championship Season"

by Anonymousreply 3311/22/2010

He spent most of the time during filming of "The Alamo" drunk off his ass. It was almost impossible to get a good scene with him and when the other actors were driven to another state to watch basketball playoffs, he was too drunk to leave his trailer.

by Anonymousreply 3411/22/2010

Excellent in "The Imposter", about an art forger.

by Anonymousreply 3511/22/2010

[quote]His scene in Your Friends and Neighbors in the steam room - or was it a sauna - describing his rape of a male classmate to Ben Stiller and Aaron Eckart, is kind of hot, in a smarmy Neil Labute kind of way.

Yeah, but I just wanted Stiller to get the hell out of there so Aaron could show Jason just how it felt in return.

by Anonymousreply 3611/22/2010

[quote]Why would anyone care what Ned Beatty had to say?

Because he's a very good character actor.

by Anonymousreply 3711/22/2010

R28 Ahem.

by Anonymousreply 3811/22/2010

Charlie Chaplin + Eugene O'Neill > George C. Scott + Colleen Dewhurst

by Anonymousreply 3911/22/2010

I thought that scenes was chilling (and smarmy hot, I'm ashamed to admit). It seemed to me that his character's machismo and sexual cruelty was over compensating.

On the commentary, LaBute makes no mention of that possibility.

If yu watch Eckart,

by Anonymousreply 4011/22/2010

Sorry, R38. I didn't think that one through.

by Anonymousreply 4111/22/2010

Charlie Chaplin procreated with Eugene O'Neill?

by Anonymousreply 4211/22/2010

That scene was chilling and I thought quite brilliantly done (and I'm embarrassed to admit, sexual).

I thought his machismo and sexual cruelty was over compensating for, possibility, homosexual feelings, or orientation.

LaBute say nothing about that in the commentary.

I've also always thought that Eckhart, in that scene, was doing some business with his towel, and hands, and spread legs. Watch it again. I thought it could be further evidence of the director's view or intention, but, again, LaBute doesn't go there.

by Anonymousreply 4311/22/2010

Sorry I screwed up.

I typed another one not thinking that piece went through.

by Anonymousreply 4411/22/2010

The actors were brave for doing so many raw sexual scenes in that movie.

by Anonymousreply 4511/22/2010

Is he a good man in a fist fight?

by Anonymousreply 4605/05/2013

I've read a few places that he dated his RUSH co-star Jennifer Jason Leigh, but I think that's BS because I heard elsewhere that they hated each other and didn't speak to each other after falling out on the set of that film. Obviously something happened.

Also, he has a 3-year-old son with a former non-celebrity girlfriend.
