Do they expect a tip on top of the $200/$250 cash you give them for their services? I need to know ASAP.
Is it proper etiquette to tip an escort?
|by Anonymous||reply 49||09/28/2013|
No, it makes them feel like the cheap whores they are. Give them their going rate only--anything more would be crass.
And if they insist on a tip? Tell them to get a real job.

[quote]And if they insist on a tip? Tell them to get a real job.
It's not polite to talk with your mouth full.
|by Anonymous||reply 2||11/14/2010|
YES. Good clients tip $20 - $50. Escorts think less of the non-tippers, and aren't as enthusiastic about serving them in the future.
|by Anonymous||reply 4||11/15/2010|
The going rate for tips is $10 an inch.
|by Anonymous||reply 5||11/15/2010|
Buy short, sell long.
|by Anonymous||reply 6||11/15/2010|
In todays economy you are lucky to get $75. The market is flooded and getting worse.
|by Anonymous||reply 7||11/15/2010|
Only if they swallow.
|by Anonymous||reply 8||11/15/2010|
No tips needed for a 200-250 rate.
|by Anonymous||reply 9||11/15/2010|
Isn't the entire fee a tip?
|by Anonymous||reply 10||11/18/2010|
No tip, unless they have a pimp of some sort.
|by Anonymous||reply 11||11/18/2010|
Tip if they're really good... and if you think you'll ever hire them again.%0D %0D
|by Anonymous||reply 12||11/18/2010|
I've never tipped. I guess that is why I can't get them to come back.
|by Anonymous||reply 14||11/18/2010|
$75?......Is that really true, Miss r7? Is that for a top beauty? Talking in real inflatia-adjusted dollars we were probably getting more than $500/hour back when we were working as one of the top concubines in LA. In 1999-2000, right before we moved to Europe, one very nice man showered many many many thousand$ on us in cash, gifts, concerts, etc. Must be why we are financially independent today! We notice most of the more beautiful ladies in the online ads (Rentboy.com) quote at least $250/hour.
|by Anonymous||reply 15||11/18/2010|
GOOD GOD, would you fucking die already, MPC! No one gives a SHIT about your invented life.
|by Anonymous||reply 16||11/18/2010|
Dieu merci R16
|by Anonymous||reply 17||11/18/2010|
We recently cancelled all our online ad$ for 'professional work' on orders from our husband - who also promised to cancel his ads!
|by Anonymous||reply 19||11/18/2010|
Hyundai can post an ad, offering a car for $250K, but that doesn't mean anybody will buy the car. It just means Hyundai is allowed to post any ad it wishes. The current market price is much, much lower.
|by Anonymous||reply 20||11/18/2010|
If they want $250.00 tell them you'll give them $100.00 and you'll tip on the basis of how much fun you have. They're more motivated.
|by Anonymous||reply 21||11/18/2010|
I don't hire whores, er I mean escorts, but if I did I sure as hell wouldn't tip him on top of the most likely untaxed ludicrous fee I paid him. You know these con artists don't claim most (if not all) of their whore fees as income especially if they're paid in cash.
|by Anonymous||reply 22||11/18/2010|
As for etiquette, OP, you're paying people to have sex with you. The etiquette ship has sailed.
|by Anonymous||reply 23||11/18/2010|
From what I've been told by those "in the know" the male whoring business has declined so drastically since the economic downturn that most escorts are lucky to get one booking a week now and their fees have dropped accordingly. The same with porn models. The days of $750.00 to $1000.00 per scene are long gone. Nowadays it's more like $250.00 to $500.00 a scene and you've got to have something really going on to demand the $500.00 rate.
|by Anonymous||reply 24||11/18/2010|
R24 ---- that's because most everyone nowadays is giving it away for free. Check out XTube and check out most gay bars most nights. If you're halfway decent you can get it for free.

The only time I've ever considered hiring and "escort" is after seeing a Ross Hurston video.
All I wanted to do after was hire him and have raucous and verbal sex with him, getting to fuck him over and over.
I have no idea if he "escorts".

What the fuck is RENTBOY THE MUSICAL in late March in NYC?
Ad on their site
|by Anonymous||reply 28||02/08/2013|
Is the escort at R26 considered top of the line? (No pun intended.)
|by Anonymous||reply 29||02/08/2013|
A long, LONG time ago (79-83), I escorted while I was going to school in Manhattan. (The first year I was only 17, but people weren't much on checking ID's at the time.) I was "straight trade" generally making $150 an hour from middle aged size queens who wanted a "real man". I was a big kid and looked a few years older than my age.
The consensus was the more we (the trade guys) appeared to disdain the client's desires, the better the tips, while the "service" guys got better tips the more pliable they were.
I was asked pretty often if tips were normal. Since I was supposed to be a tough guy just barely willing to let some old fag suck me off, I decided a good answer would be "Depends how much you liked sucking my dick, Chief."
That's what passed for gruff talk from "straight trade" in those days. Jesus, we had fun.

ditto on the 'if you had a good time and/or want to see them again' tip them.
|by Anonymous||reply 31||02/08/2013|
For parties of 6 or more, we add a gratuity of 18% to your bill.
|by Anonymous||reply 32||02/08/2013|
Of course you tip whores, OP. He obviously needs the money and unless he didn't perform in the ways agreed upon up front, he gets a tip.
It's like going to a restaurant. If you can't afford the tip, you can't afford to dine out.

|by Anonymous||reply 34||02/08/2013|
I can't believe you guys don't tip escorts when even lousy waiters get 20% tip.
|by Anonymous||reply 35||08/02/2013|
Why are we tipping a self-employed person who sets their own rate?
|by Anonymous||reply 36||08/02/2013|
R35 Your logic is ridiculous. The waiter doesn't get any portion of the amount of the check, but the escort gets 100% of the fee he is charging. So you're paying the escort the full fee, plus a tip. The waiter is only getting his salary (likely reduced because of tips) and the tip.
The same reasoning explains why you're never supposed to tip a business owner, only his/her employees.
|by Anonymous||reply 37||08/02/2013|
If you find your experience have been better than expected I would add some additional cash. $20 max. If not, make it seem like coming up with the $220 (or whatever) is difficult. You know, you can't find your wallet.
|by Anonymous||reply 38||09/28/2013|
I always tip for "specials." Naturally.
You're all so cheap. Don't you like your boys to swallow?
|by Anonymous||reply 39||09/28/2013|
I make a decent salary but am not wealthy. If I hire an escort and pay $200 or more, I do not tip unless it was an extraordinary experience.
These days most guys are working for themselves, so there's no service to pay. They keep the money. If you could get $200+ for an hour tax free, you'd be doing great.
|by Anonymous||reply 40||09/28/2013|
Yes, of course you should tip the boy. If he's working for a decent service he is not getting the entire fee. If he's on his own, he obviously needs the money. Either way, he will show his appreciation the next time you call.
|by Anonymous||reply 41||09/28/2013|
r30 how much to suck your dick now?
|by Anonymous||reply 42||09/28/2013|
Tip: Always use a condom
|by Anonymous||reply 43||09/28/2013|
We would like to weigh in with a resounding "yes." Also, a nicely wrapped gift is always a nice gesture if you expect a callback.
|by Anonymous||reply 44||09/28/2013|
If you don't tip them, you're just giving them the shaft.
|by Anonymous||reply 45||09/28/2013|
Whatever happened to the nicer times when we tipped with a jar of homemade jam?
|by Anonymous||reply 46||09/28/2013|
I tip an extra 100. But only if they let me creampie them.
|by Anonymous||reply 47||09/28/2013|
R46 For an escort, you should have grandma put up a batch of her special homestyle lube.
|by Anonymous||reply 48||09/28/2013|
If you are hiring an independent guy you don't need to tip, but if you are getting him from an agency you probably should.
I usually hire from CL and have never felt the need to tip. Just make sure you're negotiating a fair rate with them to begin with and they'll be happy and enthusiastic.
