I really don't know what else to say.
Sean Duffy from the Real World was elected to Congress.

He is opposed to even civil unions for gay couples.
He did decide, however, that it's OK for gay people to have wills leaving their estates to their partners. Thanks, Sean!
He's as Catholic fundy as they get. Ugh.

What is the Real World?

Rachel Campos-Duffy has already submitted her reel to the producers of 'The Real Housewives of DC' saying she could definitely spike up the ratings.

Any shirtless photos of Sean Duffy online?
|by Anonymous||reply 4||11/03/2010|
Those 2 are still married? That's pretty surprising.
|by Anonymous||reply 5||11/03/2010|
Still married and have about 5 kids.
|by Anonymous||reply 6||11/03/2010|
Excuse me, they have six kids

Pedro must be spinning in his grave.
|by Anonymous||reply 8||11/03/2010|
He's an ass so is his cunt wife.
|by Anonymous||reply 9||11/03/2010|
She was rude to Pedro and hooked up with Puck. I realize that that was almost 20 years ago, but it was also the reason she was my least favorite person in the San Francisco REAL WORLD house.

What a fucking LOSER!
So when's the next RW/RR challenge?

I really miss the days when the show was filled with people like these two - not them per se, but the show used to be about young people out looking for new adventure and new direction and career opportunities. Rachel was trying to get government work, and Sean...I think Sean was just partying his season, but clearly he had some ambition. Now it's nothing but idiots getting drunk, which is why I haven't seen the show since the first Vegas season (I lived there then and met the cast, unfortunately, at an event I was at - it was awful; they were frighteningly stupid - I had to spend wayyyy too much time with Trishelle).

You must be well into your 70s if you don't know what MTV's "The Real World" show is.

Really, R16? I don't. I prefer a cogent argument with an enemy, than a drunken anything with an idiot.

The first Las Vegas show was really the watershed in RW programming; it used to be a good show before that.

The best "Real World" begins and ends with the first one in NY. Nothing like it had ever been done before (if I'm incorrect, please tell me so), so no one would know to "act." It was as real as the show would ever get.

[bold]SEAN DUFFY'S REELECTION TURNS WI-7 RED[/bold]
Sean Duffy, the Republican Congressman from Wisconsin’s 7th district, not only survived his reelection bid on Tuesday night but won handily.
|by Anonymous||reply 21||11/10/2012|
Duffy for president in 2016!
|by Anonymous||reply 22||11/10/2012|
Wasn't he fairly liberal when he was on the show? I thought he was cool with his lesbian castmate.
|by Anonymous||reply 23||11/10/2012|
Ah yes, that was back in the days when that show wasn't simply about putting a bunch of young pretty people in a house to watch them get drunk and try to hook up with each other.
Sean was the token small town guy that did get exposed to people that didn't all look or behave or belief as he did. He did become cool with Genesis during their time together, but I'm not sure that resulted in full support of gay political issues.

His wife Rachel was runner up to Elizabeth Hassleback on "The View". Two useless reality stars vying for the job. She's as much a raving Conservative as Elizabeth.

I love the Hawaii one... with that crazy black haired girl who would just stare at the camera. I wonder what happened to her.
|by Anonymous||reply 26||11/10/2012|
Sean Duffy gets a 0% score from HRC.
He does not support gay equality in any way.
