Jeanne Tripplehorn

The most numerically named actress since Helen Twelvetrees?

What about me?

Agnes Ninetoes was a sensation in "Little Belle of the Gutters," a huge hit that DW Griffith directed at the old Astoria Studios.

by Anonymousreply 308/12/2010

what about us?

by Anonymousreply 408/12/2010

Thanks, folks, I needed that.

by Anonymousreply 508/12/2010

No one beats me.

by Anonymousreply 608/12/2010

Why isn't she better recognized? Jeanne is stunningly beautiful (and has kept her looks) and has talent.

by Anonymousreply 704/16/2013

"My name is Melinda, Melinda Winifred Wayne TENtrees..."

by Anonymousreply 804/16/2013

Liked Jeanne's role as Jackie in Gray Gardens. She wasn't a-scared to talk about the clap.

by Anonymousreply 904/16/2013

Don't forget Chloe Seven-yi

by Anonymousreply 1004/16/2013

Maybe you've heard of me? I'm a Tony nominated, Theatre World Award-winning actress. You know, "Nuts"?

by Anonymousreply 1104/17/2013

You're ALL bitches!

by Anonymousreply 1204/17/2013

Blame it on the Boogie...The Jackson Five

by Anonymousreply 1304/17/2013

She aged like a fine wine.

by Anonymousreply 1405/11/2013

She's one of few people who looked better at 45 than they did at 25.

by Anonymousreply 1512/15/2013

I really like her a lot. She was awesome on Big Love. She and Sela Ward should play sisters.

by Anonymousreply 1612/15/2013

R16 - Yes, Jeanne and Sela look a bit alike.

by Anonymousreply 1712/15/2013

A good friend of mine gave Jeanne her first job in radio. Way before acting came along. He said she was a nice person then and remained so.

by Anonymousreply 1812/15/2013

She seems like a nice person.

As I recall her first big project was with Tom Cruise (The Firm).

by Anonymousreply 1912/15/2013

I win.

by Anonymousreply 2012/15/2013

A dear friend used to call her "Jeanne Tripple-lips" because of her collagen addiction. To this day, I only ever call her that.

JT has had remarkable longevity, considering that she was an industry joke after BASIC INSTINCT and WATERWORLD. She's outlasted many of her contemporaries from the early 90s.

Did you know that she was signed to play Hugh Grant's love interest in FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL but pulled out when her mother died? Andie McDowall played the part. The film was a hit and might have made JT a much bigger star than she is. (She certainly would have been better than Andie.)

by Anonymousreply 2212/16/2013

And me? I'm a twofer.

by Anonymousreply 2412/16/2013

I think Barb on Big Love is some of the best work she's done.

by Anonymousreply 2512/16/2013

I like her on "Criminal Minds."

by Anonymousreply 2612/16/2013

She did a made for TV adaptation of a Faulkner story about 15 years ago. It was very good and she was great in it.

by Anonymousreply 2712/16/2013

She was just fine as Barb, touching at times.
