Just going by who I've seen up close and in person, I'd give the prize to Bernadette Peters. She's in her 60s but truly does not look a day over 29. It's quite astounding, really. Best skin on anyone I've EVER seen. She doesn't even admit to using Botox, let alone having had any work done, and in person you're compelled to believe her. %0D %0D Vanessa Williams looks great for her age, too, but does admit to using Botox.%0D %0D Jane Fonda looked great until this last surgery which really gave her Joker-face, sadly.%0D %0D Helen Mirren and Meryl look great for any age, too.%0D %0D Who else? %0D %0D
Which actress looks youngest for her age?
|by Anonymous||reply 98||02/05/2013|
I know I will be attacked for this but STREISAND still looks great. Here's a still from the upcoming "Little Fockers" movie.
|by Anonymous||reply 1||07/04/2010|
She looked great when I met her a few years ago. Think she may have started using lip injections since, though.
|by Anonymous||reply 2||07/04/2010|
Streisand must have had a little done, because she was having some serious neck/jowl issues. She looks fantastic in that picture. That's probably why she took the movie, to show off her incredible new look.
|by Anonymous||reply 3||07/04/2010|
I agree, I'm so glad Babs chose the fat ass/full face combo over the skinny/haggard look. It's one or the other once you hit 60 (unless you're Bernadette or Helen Mirren, at least).
|by Anonymous||reply 4||07/04/2010|
Halle Berry. Hard to believe that she's middle-aged.%0D %0D %0D %0D Ditto Salma Hayek.
|by Anonymous||reply 5||07/04/2010|
Bernadette Peters had a shitload of work done quite a few years ago. She was a fat ugly girl with a mustache and suddenly she was transformed into Bernadette Peters, slim, not good-looking but not ugly and the mustache was gone forever.
|by Anonymous||reply 6||07/04/2010|
R6 is some vendetta/anti-BP troll. She was a regular on PLAYBOY After Dark in the EARLY 70s. Cause you just know Hugh Hefner was all about having fat, mannish, mustachioed hags hanging around him in his harem for a national TV audience. %0D %0D Puh-lease. Hang it up, doll.
|by Anonymous||reply 7||07/04/2010|
Soigourney is 61 and is aging nicely.
|by Anonymous||reply 8||07/04/2010|
Luis Rainer doesn't look a day over 93!!!
|by Anonymous||reply 9||07/04/2010|
This 1970s pic of Peters does show that she's made the best of her looks since then. Take a look at her jaw and chin
|by Anonymous||reply 10||07/04/2010|
Soigourney = Sigourney
|by Anonymous||reply 11||07/04/2010|
I agree with Sigourney, too. She's looking good. It took my 14 year old niece to tell me the other day that Maria Bello is 43. I was floored.
|by Anonymous||reply 12||07/04/2010|
That's a heavily photoshopped (or airbrushed, considering the time) photo at r11.
Here's Peters on "What's My Line" in the mid-1970s. Except for the blonde, straightened hair, looks very much like she does now. She's even thinner now, but she looks very similar.
|by Anonymous||reply 13||07/04/2010|
Jennifer Tilly looks great. I think she's in her early 50s.
|by Anonymous||reply 14||07/04/2010|
Bernadette Peters does not look like what a normal 29 year old woman looks like. She's just kept the same hairstyle since she was 29.
|by Anonymous||reply 15||07/04/2010|
"Streisand must have had a little done"
DUH. She had everything done before the first Fockers movie. Plus she's fat and that helps too. She must weigh close to 200 pounds.
|by Anonymous||reply 16||07/04/2010|
Susan Sarandon looks pretty great, as does Diane Keaton.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||07/04/2010|
Streisand does not weigh 200lbs.!!
|by Anonymous||reply 18||07/04/2010|
Julianne Moore looks fantastic, though I'm guessing some Botox is involved here as well.
|by Anonymous||reply 19||07/04/2010|
She looks as fugly as she always does ,r19.
|by Anonymous||reply 20||07/04/2010|
Morgan Fairchild owns this thread.
|by Anonymous||reply 21||07/04/2010|
|by Anonymous||reply 22||07/04/2010|
[quote] She's just kept the same hairstyle since she was 29.
No. Clearly her hairstyle now is nothing like it was when she was in her 20s.
|by Anonymous||reply 23||07/04/2010|
|by Anonymous||reply 24||07/04/2010|
I love the face Peters makes at the reference to "any of the big hit musicals of the last three years." Since this has to be early 1975 at the latest (since Blyden died in mid-75), her musicals in the last three years were big, but flops (Mack & Mabel, On the Town, La Strada).
|by Anonymous||reply 25||07/04/2010|
Wow Morgan Fairchild is wearing well. Bab's has had a huge amount of work done over a period of time, it's very good work though, she does not look done.
|by Anonymous||reply 26||07/04/2010|
I agree - Bernadette Peters does not look 29 - early 40's maybe, but not 29.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||07/04/2010|
I'm not denying that Streisand is aging well but you do all realize that the earlier posted photo was heavily photoshopped, don't you?%0D %0D OTOH I'm guessing that Sigourney's photo was not.
|by Anonymous||reply 28||07/04/2010|
How much then, r18? She was 5'5' tall, must have shrink an inch or two, say she's 5'3 1/2 now. My guess is she weighs 175 if she weighs an ounce, 175-200.
|by Anonymous||reply 29||07/04/2010|
[quote]She's in her 60s but truly does not look a day over 29.
Oh, please. How can anyone take your post seriously after that?
|by Anonymous||reply 30||07/04/2010|
What do you mean?
|by Anonymous||reply 31||07/04/2010|
Bernadette Peters does look fabulous, it's pretty amazing.
I saw her co-hosting with Regis few weeks ago, even her arms, chest and neck area looked very youthful. I don't know if anyone, unless they were severely obese lost a ton of weight and have that hanging skin, can have their arms surgically tightened!
What's her secret, great genes? I know she's an ivory skinned Italian American.
I have a 55 year old ivory skinned female cousin who's also Italian American, her skin is flawless and she passes for 35, the oldest. It also helps that she's never smoked, done recreational drugs, drank heavily or taken the sun.
I guess that's also Bernadette's secret? I've never heard her involved with any drug or alcohol scandals. She's also never had kids, so her body's in great shape.
|by Anonymous||reply 32||07/04/2010|
Painting in the attic.
|by Anonymous||reply 33||07/04/2010|
Morgan Fairchild looks amazing! I think she wins the thread, hands-down.
|by Anonymous||reply 34||07/04/2010|
Sophia Loren - 75%0D %0D Sandra Bullock - 45%0D %0D Jane Fonda - 73%0D %0D Halle Berry -43%0D %0D Susan Sarandon - 63%0D %0D Valerie Bertinelli -50%0D %0D Angela Bassett - 51%0D %0D
|by Anonymous||reply 35||07/04/2010|
Dana Delany is 54 and looks a lot younger than her age.
Donna Mills is 60 and still looks great.
|by Anonymous||reply 36||07/04/2010|
Sophia Loren - 75
Sandra Bullock - 45
Jane Fonda - 73
Halle Berry -43
Susan Sarandon - 63
Valerie Bertinelli -50
Angela Bassett - 51
Most of the women mentioned above, save for perhaps Valerie Bertinelli, Sandra Bullock and Angela Bassett, have definitely had work done, especially Sophia Loren, Jane Fonda and Susan Sarandon.
Even Halle Berry, she's had a nose job.
|by Anonymous||reply 37||07/04/2010|
I don't believe Sandra Bullock hasn't had any work done. Maybe it's just botox or something but her looks too tight.
|by Anonymous||reply 38||07/04/2010|
^face looks too tight
|by Anonymous||reply 39||07/04/2010|
Sophia Loren look very good and natural (good plastic surgery); she'd look better if she had stayed out of the sun.
Morgan Fairchild, puleeze. She is so surgically copped and botoxed she looks like a barbie doll.
|by Anonymous||reply 40||07/04/2010|
I think Halle Berry looks her age - which is 43.
|by Anonymous||reply 41||07/04/2010|
I listed those that may have had work done, but didn't have that pulled tight, fish lipped face that many women (Nicole Kidman, Michelle Pfeiffer, Goldie Hawn, to name a few) in Hollywood seem to have.
|by Anonymous||reply 42||07/04/2010|
Julie Christie, Charlotte Rampling and Catherine Denueve a;; look absolutely amazing. Julie may well have had some work done but its subtle and doesn't make her look like anyone else other than herself. Catherine and Charlotte probably have had work done but its sensational work and the result is the same. These three great ladies seem to realize that looking ones best in later life, even with some cosmetic help, is a very different process than trying to look younger at any price.
Of course starting out as three of the most beautiful women who ever lived doesn't hurt. But that doesn't stop some of their contemporaries of previously equal stature in the looks department from looking like droids. Faye Dunaway, anyone?
|by Anonymous||reply 43||07/04/2010|
r36, Donna Mills turns 70 in December.
|by Anonymous||reply 44||07/04/2010|
Then she looks even better than I thought, R44. She looks amazing for a 70 year old.
|by Anonymous||reply 45||07/04/2010|
Don't be fooled by Barbara. She paid a BH doctor for a house call to inject her with Botox. She kept the Dr. waiting two hours, and then said exactly where, and how much, to inject. Doctor refused, told her not to call again, and then sent her a big bill.%0D %0D This doctor turned down Michael Jackson, too. A lot of BH doctors did.
|by Anonymous||reply 46||07/04/2010|
Deneuve now is bloated, the result of drinking nonstop.
Agree Bernadette looks terrific, but I think the winner in this category is Mary Steenburgen. Danson is one lucky man.
|by Anonymous||reply 47||07/04/2010|
Morgan Fairchild at 60.
|by Anonymous||reply 48||07/04/2010|
"I think Halle Berry looks her age - which is 43."%0D %0D %0D %0D Are you kidding? There are no lines on her face. %0D %0D
|by Anonymous||reply 49||07/04/2010|
How about Isabella Rossellini? I spent some time with her about five years ago and she was very lovely then.
|by Anonymous||reply 50||07/04/2010|
Halle Berry does not look her age, her face is flawless and she has maintained her body. She is still in the top three for most African American men.
|by Anonymous||reply 51||07/04/2010|
You don't need lines on your face to look your age.
|by Anonymous||reply 52||07/04/2010|
|by Anonymous||reply 53||07/04/2010|
I agree, excessive wrinkles have nothing to do with being in your 40's. Some people have them, others don't. It is all about genetics, people.%0D %0D Deneuve looks hideous these days. She went under the knife and wiped any of her former beauty away forever. Christie did the same thing. Rampling, however, looks very good and totally age appropriate.
|by Anonymous||reply 54||07/04/2010|
Halle Berry looks like a woman in her 40's to me, even though she has no wrinkles.%0D %0D She does not have the bloom of youth - she looks 43.
|by Anonymous||reply 55||07/04/2010|
I forgot to mention in my original post that Blythe Danner is also quite youthful looking, both on TV/stage/film and in person. I don't think she's had any surgery either, since the neck/jowls give away her age. %0D %0D I guess that means Gwynnie will age well too, that is if she quit the ciggies (does Blythe still smoke, too? I'd assume not.)%0D %0D I look forward to seeing who looks younger in FOCKERS 3, Blythe or Babs. That's the only part of it I'm looking forward to, sadly.
|by Anonymous||reply 56||07/05/2010|
I bet Bernadette has never had direct sunlight on her face. And sleeps in a crypt. Just a guess.
|by Anonymous||reply 57||07/05/2010|
"It is all about genetics, people."%0D %0D %0D %0D No, 90% of aging is caused by the sun. %0D
|by Anonymous||reply 58||07/05/2010|
|by Anonymous||reply 59||07/05/2010|
Is this the post-surgery Deneuve? She looks great.
|by Anonymous||reply 60||07/05/2010|
r56, if you think blythe danner hasn't had a facelift, then you don't know what a lifted face looks like!
|by Anonymous||reply 61||07/05/2010|
|by Anonymous||reply 62||07/05/2010|
|by Anonymous||reply 63||07/05/2010|
susan lucci is the winner
|by Anonymous||reply 64||07/05/2010|
Lucci looks astounding, am surprised no one has mentioned Victoria Principal yet, looks fantastic, though I'm sure she's had a bit of "help"
|by Anonymous||reply 65||07/05/2010|
Bernadette Peters is a remarkably beautiful woman, which is much more apparent in person and in close proximity than it is on stage or screen. She is indeed luminous.
|by Anonymous||reply 66||07/06/2010|
definitely the top 3 and each, although there's quite likely some work done, look mature, gorgeous and as naturally stunning as they did in their youth. And, most importantly, they look like themselves.
|by Anonymous||reply 67||07/06/2010|
r67 has it right.
Deneuve has definitely had very high quality work done, Rampling perhaps not, Christie I would guess has had a little but not much.
Three fantastic women, amazing actresses and role models for any actress beauty who wants to age like a real star.
|by Anonymous||reply 68||07/06/2010|
Of course r67 is right, but OP's question wasn't who looks the best but who looks the youngest.
Then again, who really cares who looks the youngest if they end up looking like polly wogs.
|by Anonymous||reply 69||07/06/2010|
Fran Drescher owns this thread.%0D %0D
|by Anonymous||reply 70||07/06/2010|
Sharon Stone. And Kim Basinger some years ago (circa The Door on the floor). Jennifer Aniston also looks good, specially her body. Michelle Pfeiffer is too thin.%0D %0D I agree that the Europeans look very good - they may have had some work, but maintain their features, even with wrinkles. All three were not only beautiful but sylish and aged tastefully. That said, neither Deneuve, Christie or Rampling look particularly younger than their actual age.
|by Anonymous||reply 71||07/06/2010|
Fat aside, Kirstie Alley looks pretty good to be 59.
|by Anonymous||reply 72||07/06/2010|
Completely agree about Kirstie.
Her face is still amazing, especially for someone who admitted to having a cocaine habit in her youth.
|by Anonymous||reply 73||07/06/2010|
[quote]Victoria Principal yet, looks fantastic, though I'm sure she's had a bit of "help"
That made me laugh so hard. Only a flyover frau could have written it.
Darling sweetheart: that bitch has had so much work, it's a miracle she can open her mouth.
|by Anonymous||reply 74||07/06/2010|
Same thing with Lucci.
|by Anonymous||reply 75||07/06/2010|
I think Victoria Principal's face looks weird.%0D %0D It looks unnatural and like silly putty.
|by Anonymous||reply 76||07/06/2010|
|by Anonymous||reply 77||07/07/2010|
|by Anonymous||reply 78||07/07/2010|
Agree that no one looks younger FOR HER AGE than Bernadette Peters. She truly looks at least 20 years younger than she is.
|by Anonymous||reply 79||02/04/2013|
Streisand IS Mama Rose!
|by Anonymous||reply 80||02/04/2013|
R78 You try having Maurice Gibb sit on your face and see how good YOU look.
|by Anonymous||reply 81||02/04/2013|
Christie Brinkley's new face is amazing. She looks 20 years younger - and a HOT 20 years younger.
|by Anonymous||reply 82||02/04/2013|
R43, are you insane?
You say Julie Christie, Charlotte Rampling and Catherine Denueve look great when each one of them looks like they've spent the past 15 years in a tanning bed next to a Daiquiri bar.
They look hideous!
|by Anonymous||reply 83||02/04/2013|
Leslie Caron looks pretty good for 81.
|by Anonymous||reply 84||02/04/2013|
I don't know why anyone thinks any of these women are so amazing. It's a well attested fact that many Dataloungers are often told they look 29, yet they are actually decades older!!!
|by Anonymous||reply 85||02/04/2013|
Quenvenzhanay Wallis..I can't believe she is only 7>
She looks 5!
|by Anonymous||reply 86||02/04/2013|
A lot of the women mentioned here look great. No one, man or woman, can maintain a "youthful glow". That is the privilege of youth only.
|by Anonymous||reply 87||02/04/2013|
|by Anonymous||reply 88||02/04/2013|
Just saw Mary Steenbergen in a movie last night and I thought to myself how great she looked. I'm 63 and female and I can spot plastic surgery a mile away, but with Steenbergen, I just couldn't see it. She looks great. And it's not just sun, it's more genetic than anything else.
|by Anonymous||reply 89||02/04/2013|
Phylicia Ayers-Allen Rashad. A Goddess.
|by Anonymous||reply 90||02/04/2013|
Not an actress, but Joan Rivers looks great for 78!
|by Anonymous||reply 91||02/04/2013|
Dyan Cannon! Poor thing has had so much lousy plastic surgery she can hardly blink! She looks awful.
|by Anonymous||reply 92||02/04/2013|
It's not some great achievement for a woman in her early 40s to look great. Lots of women still look good then especially if they have resources to look good (hair, make up) and early 40s is still an age you can easily retain your body (flat stomach, good legs). Women who have given birth are different.
Once your metabolism starts to slow and you begin menopause then the work is needed to maintain yourself.
Someone mentioned Jennifer Aniston but in pics she looks way older than she is because her skin is so bad. I'll wait to give her props on her body until she's older or goes through a pregnancy and after.
Despite what I used to read I think dark hair makes you look younger. Too much blonde and it ends up looking almost white/gray and ages you.
|by Anonymous||reply 93||02/04/2013|
Yeah, Dyan Cannon is reed thin and bony and her face looks so very, very strange. Extra terrestrial strange.
|by Anonymous||reply 94||02/04/2013|
[quote]Quenvenzhanay Wallis..I can't believe she is only 7>She looks 5!
Bitch, please! She's had work done.
|by Anonymous||reply 95||02/04/2013|
Dana Delany, Lauren Graham, Lauren Ambrose, Halle Berry, Selma Hayek.
|by Anonymous||reply 96||02/05/2013|
Dyan Cannon's plastic surgery always kept her recognizable.
Until this last round.
|by Anonymous||reply 97||02/05/2013|
[quote]I'd give the prize to Bernadette Peters. She's in her 60s but truly does not look a day over 29.
They can treat cataracts quite easily, you know.
