Video: Cristiano Ronaldo in the lockerroom

No full frontals but still nice.

by Anonymousreply 3506/16/2013

Ronaldo supports gay marriage, so of course the resident self-loathers on DL trash him every chance they get. Pathetic.

by Anonymousreply 906/17/2010

R9, do you keep some sort of master list of every celebrity's position on gay rights - and specifically gay marriage? How myopic can you be!

by Anonymousreply 1006/17/2010

te hee hee!

by Anonymousreply 1106/17/2010

Gorgeous...yes

Sleazy...D-uh!

They got the hair all wrong at R11's link.

by Anonymousreply 1506/15/2013

Too boring for words.

by Anonymousreply 1606/15/2013

Then why doesn't Ronaldo himself come out, R13?

by Anonymousreply 1706/15/2013

Gross but amazing footballer.. and very very gay.

by Anonymousreply 1806/15/2013

He always looks like he'd taste like sun-tan oil and sport gel.

by Anonymousreply 1906/15/2013

Doesn't he shave everywhere? And that crisco tan. Ugh.

by Anonymousreply 2006/15/2013

Didn't he get HS2 from Paris Hilton?

by Anonymousreply 2106/15/2013

why are soccer players so small? do they lift weights typically?

by Anonymousreply 2206/15/2013

Ronaldo's 6'1", so he's not small at all. They do lift weights for strength and conditioning, but nothing that would increase bulk. Adding too much muscle weight is a hindrance to the speed and flexibility needed to play.

While it's true that the game has a wider spectrum of heights, there are plenty of tall players over 6' (even some 6'7"+). The game demands more skill and stamina than power. Ronaldo is known for being one of the most athletic and imposing/powerful players in his position. His rival is Lionel Messi, who is 5' 7", barely, but he's been the Balon d'Or/World Player of the Year winner three years running and has broken all sorts of scoring records. His skills on the ball far exceed Ronaldo's. I'm not sure if he's faster, but he has a remarkable ability to stay on his feet at high speed, with the ball at his toes as he winds, not powers his way through three, four, and I've seen five defenders beat by him. It's unusual to see Ronaldo do that. Andres Iniesta, Messi's teammate, has a similar dribbling style and skill set, and he, too is 5'7". Fernando Torres, another six footer, has a style more similar to Ronaldo's.

I guess to Americans, soccer players' bodies look so puny because we are accustomed to buff beefcake American football players, basketball players, and hockey players. Even today's baseball players are big and buff.

by Anonymousreply 2406/15/2013

Messi makes me moisty!

by Anonymousreply 2506/15/2013

I don't get his appeal at all, there is nothing attractive about him.

by Anonymousreply 2606/15/2013

I'm a big soccer/football follower. Ronaldo is a love/hate figure in the sport. So much so that Nike, his sponsor, crafted a commercial around the theme with some fans (or actors) playing the roles of those who love or loathe him.

He's immensely talented. But he's extremely cocky, petulant, and whiny when things don't go his way. His gesturing and facial expressions on the field are really peevish. And, of course, whether you follow the sport or not and see him only in gossip pages, he reeks vanity.

by Anonymousreply 2706/15/2013

Soccer is more cardio - running about an enormous amount so you don't need to be big to be good at soccer.

by Anonymousreply 2806/15/2013

which is why soccer never caught on in America.

by Anonymousreply 2906/15/2013

The Ronaldo troll appears to have missed this thread.

by Anonymousreply 3006/15/2013

r21 Do you mean HSV2? Or a musical?

by Anonymousreply 3106/16/2013

He looks like a gay athlete, and wears too much gel in his hair. At least he doesn't have trashy tats on his body.

The only people who should wear tats are sailors, convicts, and prostitutes.

He's not all that. He's too greasy for my taste, and most likely a walking STD.

by Anonymousreply 3306/16/2013

Ronaldo gets bashed.

by Anonymousreply 3406/16/2013

Yes, r21
