Who wears a toupee, who has plugs

Discuss Steve Carrel-plugs

by Anonymousreply 13601/20/2017

Gwennyth plugs

by Anonymousreply 204/12/2010

Joel McHale.

by Anonymousreply 304/12/2010

the link doesn't mention McHale r3

by Anonymousreply 404/12/2010

Matthew McBongo -- plugs John Travolta -- toupee

by Anonymousreply 504/12/2010

do all the plugs guys have that huge gash on their head like Piven?

by Anonymousreply 704/12/2010

Jon Cryer - toupe Charlie Sheen - plugs

by Anonymousreply 804/13/2010

Phila Daily News just outed Jimmy Smits' toupee (it blew off during a scene) believe it or not, I think David Letterman wears a partial piece of some sort.

by Anonymousreply 904/13/2010

I think Letterman has something going too. His hair on top looks a little too bushy for a man of his age. Its still a good weave though, if it is one. I cant tell with the news guys. Charles Gibson wears toupee right? George S? John Travolta should stop with the lacefronts. He looks great bald.

by Anonymousreply 1004/13/2010

Letterman, definitely: his hair was thinning in the 80s.

by Anonymousreply 1104/13/2010

Doesn't Springsteen have something?

by Anonymousreply 1204/13/2010

This might seem like an odd question but why don't celebrities get on hair loss treatments like Propecia instead bothering with toupees?

by Anonymousreply 1304/13/2010

William Shatner OWNS this fucking thread

by Anonymousreply 1404/13/2010

They probably did R13 but that is not a cure and the hair still vanished.

by Anonymousreply 1504/13/2010

Rip Taylor

by Anonymousreply 1604/13/2010

How about Hugh Laurie of House? Definite toupee in older seasons, this year maybe plugs?

by Anonymousreply 1704/13/2010

Ted Danson - rug

by Anonymousreply 1804/13/2010

Ted Danson has gone without the hair piece quite often. However I have no idea what Sting has going on at the top of his head, whether it is plugs, a weave, a wig or a combination of all 3.

by Anonymousreply 1904/13/2010

R18 - I thought Ted D. has a full head of gray hair, has he been bald all along?

by Anonymousreply 2004/13/2010

Chris Meloni - toupee

by Anonymousreply 2104/13/2010

Ted Danson was wearing a rug by the end of Cheers.

by Anonymousreply 2204/13/2010

Thomas Calabro admitted to wearing a hair piece on Wendy Williams

by Anonymousreply 2304/13/2010

[quote] I thought Ted D. has a full head of gray hair, has he been bald all along?

It's fake hair. He's lost a lot of his hair.

by Anonymousreply 2404/13/2010

Thank god Bruce Willis has the guts to appear in a feature film with nada!

by Anonymousreply 2504/13/2010

I've always liked Thomas Calabro since the first version of Melrose Place. I respect him for coming clean about his hair piece. And he couldn't have picked a better show than Wendy's to talk about fake hair.

by Anonymousreply 2604/13/2010

Al Gore and Joe Biden have plugs

by Anonymousreply 2704/13/2010

David Faber (CNBC) - toupee Ditto Joe Kernan

by Anonymousreply 2804/13/2010

Gary Sinise has something atop his head. Looks too "wiggy" to be a transplant, so I'm guessing weave or toupee. The way his piece is placed gives him that curious hairline look my sisters and I call "The Bucky"--from Fat Albert & the Cosby kids.

by Anonymousreply 2904/13/2010

Really David Faber? He's kind of hot actually

by Anonymousreply 3004/13/2010

Tim McGraw has either plugs or a wiglet/hairpiece.

Bradley Cooper wears a hairpiece some of the time to fill in the front.

George Clooney had on a hairpiece at the recent Oscars.

Ben Affleck appears to wear some sort of weave all or part of the time.

by Anonymousreply 3104/13/2010

I think Enrique Iglesias might have plugs or a hairpiece.

by Anonymousreply 3204/13/2010

R30 - he actually has a sense of humor about it all. He was adjusting it one day without realizing the camera was on him. He chuckled and just moved on. No big deal.

by Anonymousreply 3304/13/2010

Letterman does NOT have plugs. It's all his own hair.

by Anonymousreply 3404/13/2010

This has a close up of Ben Affleck's hairline. It looks natural.

by Anonymousreply 3504/17/2010

Ben looks awful in those pictures linked at R35. He's one of those rare people who look better with some additional weight and filling to their face.

by Anonymousreply 3604/17/2010

R21, uh, no

by Anonymousreply 3704/17/2010

Ben Affleck needs to invest in a nose-hair clipper.

by Anonymousreply 3804/17/2010

R37, uh, yes. Meloni wears a very thin toupee for the show. He's completely bald on top.

by Anonymousreply 3904/17/2010

Yes, McHale has plugs, but I'm too busy staring at his chest to notice.

by Anonymousreply 4004/17/2010

r41: linky stinky

by Anonymousreply 4104/17/2010

Why would he bother with a toupee that is so thin and receding? Wouldn't he go for something much better?

by Anonymousreply 4204/17/2010

Are these plugs on Vincent Perez? Look at the center of the back of his head -- the normal bald spot.

by Anonymousreply 4304/17/2010

I still think Vincent is hot, though

by Anonymousreply 4404/17/2010

these guys with money...go for the actual transplant. i did...absolutely NO regrets. looks so natural and damn good

by Anonymousreply 4504/17/2010

I can't believe people don't remember the episode of Cheers in which Sam admitted to Carla that he wore a "hair enhancement system".

Carla was humiliated that Sam found out she had gotten drunk and slept with Paul (the nerdy, chubby guy who WASN'T Norm or Cliff). Sam revealed his own humiliating secret as a guarantee he'd keep her secret. It was in the final season.

by Anonymousreply 4604/17/2010

I remember that episode, R46.

by Anonymousreply 4704/17/2010

Good for Calabro!

I remember on Good Morning America John Travolta talking about his hair in that Paris movie and it was a wink to his being self-conscious about going on camera without his hair.

Did anyone else see that?

by Anonymousreply 4804/17/2010

Joe Namath and Milburn Drysdale.

by Anonymousreply 4904/17/2010

Apparently JC Chasez has some kind of fake hair. But I guess interest in him is limited to the Nsync troll.

by Anonymousreply 5004/17/2010

Adam Baldwin. Rug. Really cheap one by the looks of it.

by Anonymousreply 5104/17/2010

There's an ADAM Baldwin?

by Anonymousreply 5204/17/2010

Do you mean Alec Baldwin? He does NOT wear a hairpiece!

by Anonymousreply 5304/17/2010

How can Brad Pitt go back and forth between hairplugs and a toupee, R6? Don't hairplugs require surgical removal and, I assume, healing and possible scarring?

by Anonymousreply 5404/17/2010

Ok, can discuss this for a moment? What does he have going on here? I guess he pulls it up to his hairline and has pieces in the back for fullness. In any event, Beyonce needs to do a weave intervention. They have the same hair color now, and probably have the same weave lady.

by Anonymousreply 5504/17/2010

Didn't someone post pics of Piven's hair procedure scar? It was nasty!

by Anonymousreply 5604/17/2010

Adam Baldwin, as in Full Metal Jacket, the X-Files, Firefly, My Bodyguard, etc etc

by Anonymousreply 5704/17/2010

My hair is 100% natural.

by Anonymousreply 5804/17/2010

Whoops, try this link for Joel McHale, plugged and shirtless.

by Anonymousreply 5904/18/2010

Didn't know Redford wore the hair-helmet till I read it here on DL. Mike Nichols of course has needed an Irish Jig from day one, due to alopecia.

by Anonymousreply 6004/18/2010

Alan Brady

by Anonymousreply 6104/18/2010

Can't believe you girls haven't mentioned Vince Vaughn - watching his rug can be the most interesting thing about one of his movies...does he really have a dick so big it hurts the ladies?

by Anonymousreply 6204/18/2010

Brendan Fraser has terrible plugs, he usually wears a toupee. But when you go cueball bald very young, there aren't a lot of good options. Mel Gibson and Robin Williams have bad plugs over the forehead.

by Anonymousreply 6304/18/2010

Meloni I've seen in person several times. He definitely wears a toupee on the show. He is totally bald on top.

Brad Cooper.

Vince Vaughn.

Ben Affleck.

Travolta, obviously.

The one that everyone hates to hear, but is true - Jon Hamm.

by Anonymousreply 6404/18/2010

How about Keith Urban. Is that really a wig he wears?

by Anonymousreply 6504/18/2010

Jon Hamm? Never noticed that one at all, and I usually notice right away. Didn't even catch it on his Saturday Night Live appearance for 90 minutes!

Keith Urban does appear to maybe be wearing a full wig.

by Anonymousreply 6604/18/2010

there should be a thread of male celebs with a full head of hair! I bet there are only about five.

by Anonymousreply 6704/18/2010

Bob Odenkirk

by Anonymousreply 6804/18/2010

[quote]Didn't someone post pics of Piven's hair procedure scar? It was nasty!

Piven has all kinds of weird things going on with his body.

by Anonymousreply 6904/18/2010

Pics of Jon Hamm's hairpiece, please

by Anonymousreply 7004/18/2010

by Anonymousreply 7104/18/2010

I was never sure whether all of Affleck's hair was his own until I saw him on Jon Favreau's IFC show "Dinner for 5" when Colin Farrell was also a guest. Farrell for some reason yanked on Affleck's hair, and it definitely looked at that moment as if it were the real deal.

by Anonymousreply 7204/18/2010

I swear Ben Affleck was wearing a weave or hairpiece for a while. Maybe he now has transplants or plugs.

by Anonymousreply 7304/18/2010

Afflect has to have plugs or a good weave because---he always has the same hairstyle for years. It never changes, it never grows longer. You see pics of male celebs with real hair---sometimes long, sometimes a little shorter. But his is the same.damn.length.

by Anonymousreply 7404/18/2010

Jeremy Piven

Michael Keaton

by Anonymousreply 7504/18/2010

R68 reminds me: Will Arnett

by Anonymousreply 7604/18/2010

re: Adam Baldwin - currently on the TV show "Chuck".

by Anonymousreply 7704/18/2010

by Anonymousreply 7804/18/2010

R41, dear, and everyone else who gets the "forbidden" message when someone links to a url with a jpg or another pic:

Please your cursor at the end of the url and hit enter and you'll see the link in all its glory.

The linky is not stinky, but your computer skills are a bit behind.

by Anonymousreply 7904/18/2010

John Hamm? Sorry. All his.

by Anonymousreply 8003/06/2011

R32, Enrique Iglesias has a huge, full-on complete wig/tpupee%0D %0D Ricky Martin- some sort of hairpiece and plugs%0D %0D Rob Lowe - wig or toupee

by Anonymousreply 8103/06/2011

Charlie Sheen has toupees - not plugs - his entire hair at the front and on top is fake hair

by Anonymousreply 8203/06/2011

I've seen pics of Hamm that clearly show that he must be wearing a toupee on Mad Men. His hair is definitely thining on top.

by Anonymousreply 8303/06/2011

Patrick Wilson- transplant and Toppik

Patrick Warburton- transplant and Toppik

I remember watching an Academy awards show with Tammy- the overhead lighting showed transplants to me- i gasped and pointed it out, and everyone agreed with me.

by Anonymousreply 8403/06/2011

Liza -- totally bald. Shhheee wearsshhhh wigshhhh.

by Anonymousreply 8503/06/2011

I would love to see someone pull Charlie Sheen's toupee off. I would do it if I ever got near enough to him.

by Anonymousreply 8603/06/2011

Every time I try to convince myself that Joh Hamm has his natural hair, I see a picture that proves me wrong.

by Anonymousreply 8703/06/2011

Little Edie-fat, bald

by Anonymousreply 8803/06/2011

Check out Jon Hamm on thirty rock. There are a couple scenecs where he bends over and you can see he's losing hair around his temples.

by Anonymousreply 8904/11/2011

Jon Cryer.

by Anonymousreply 9004/11/2011

If David Letterman had a hair transplant or is wearing something, he should get his money back.

by Anonymousreply 9104/11/2011

[quote]Please your cursor at the end of the url and hit enter and you'll see the link in all its glory. The linky is not stinky, but your computer skills are a bit behind.

You've just admitted the link IS stinky since it won't come up for everyone.

It's nice to shift the blame on others, but let's face it: you fucked up buy posting an inferior link.

by Anonymousreply 9204/11/2011

[quote]you fucked up buy posting an inferior link.%0D %0D O deer!

by Anonymousreply 9304/11/2011

I like Enrique's wig. its nice and bouncy. I like even more to rip it off in a moment of passion!

by Anonymousreply 9404/11/2011

video of pat sajek removing his wig.

by Anonymousreply 9504/11/2011

Sting is clearly balding, he has a badly receding hairline.

How could anyone assume he wears any type of supplemental hair? You think it's worse than it already looks?! If so, he should ask for his money back.

His wife, that nutjob Trudie, also has badly thinning hair with a receding hairline. Not to mention, getting her face lifted so many times, didn't help with her already receding hairline!

by Anonymousreply 9604/11/2011

Costner wears a rug. He used to get them from a guy named Sal in New Orleans who retired.

by Anonymousreply 9704/11/2011

Wtf is going on with Piven's chest in R69's pic? Are those stretch marks? Btw, R92 is an idiot.

by Anonymousreply 9804/11/2011

Careful r86 because he would go batshit on you.

by Anonymousreply 9904/12/2011

Tom Cruise has hair plugs

by Anonymousreply 10004/12/2011

r59 your link did not work. and Shatner is wonderful...

by Anonymousreply 10104/12/2011

R95-you do realize that was an April Fools joke don't you?

by Anonymousreply 10204/12/2011

Why not a list of balding women celebrities or those who always wear wigs?

Beyonce and J. Lo are always in some type of supplemental hair. Do they even have much of their own hair? In an interview, Marc Anthony mentioned J.Lo has a wig room in one of their homes, so that's a lot of wigs and hairpieces!

I can't even begin to count all the actresses who wearing extensions. This, of course, sets the bar way too high for regular women, especially when they compare themselves with a female celebrity with perfect hair.

Nicole Kidman has some type of alopecia going on. She was wearing such bad miss-matched, in texture and shine, extensions when she was on "The View" a few months ago. It was obvious, especially to people who know about supplemental hair.

Kidman's real hair on top was thin and cotton candy-ish in texture, while the long extensions pieces where thick, healthy and shiny.

I always wonder when I see this, why can't such wealthy people find better supplemental hair solutions? I'm sure expert wig makers are at a celebrity's disposal.

by Anonymousreply 10304/16/2011

Paris Hilton is another one who wears extensions

by Anonymousreply 10404/17/2011

I think almost all the celebrity women with hair longer than shoulder length have hair extension. Even in relatively young women hair longer than that looks thin.

by Anonymousreply 10504/17/2011

Men wearing a toupee I get. Women? Strange.

by Anonymousreply 10604/17/2011

I'm really looking forward to shorter hair making a comeback for women.

Some of these middle-aged celebrities look ridiculous clinging to their long (fake) hair. It's not even flattering.

by Anonymousreply 10704/17/2011

Woman wearing a toupee:

by Anonymousreply 10804/17/2011

Does Jim Carey wear a hairpiece? I never thought so, but his hairline looked really strange in "I Love You, Philip Morris."

by Anonymousreply 10904/17/2011

R105, R107, you do not know what you are talking about.%0D %0D You are decades upon decades behind the times and extremely oout-moded in your thinking.%0D %0D You have a 1950's standard and you have never grown beyond that narrow, insular thinking.%0D %0D Women of all ages, including middle age and older, look fantastic, sexy, alluring, and beautiful with long hair.%0D %0D You are just jealous. You are probably balding beautitians from small towns who live in a tiny world of outmoded thought. If you are not that, then you are just hopelessly passe and ignorant.

by Anonymousreply 11004/17/2011

by Anonymousreply 11104/17/2011

Tee hee!

Short hair has already made a comeback for the young women. The older ladies will pick it back up when its gone out of style again.

by Anonymousreply 11204/17/2011

I don't think short hair 'has made a comeback for young women' at all, R112.%0D %0D Where do you live - plant Uranus?

by Anonymousreply 11304/17/2011

And by young women, I dont mean the aging 40 somethings like Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lopez. I mean actual 20 somethings.

by Anonymousreply 11404/17/2011

Agrre R107

by Anonymousreply 11504/17/2011

There's nothing fantastic, sexy, beautiful or alluring about a 45 year old woman with 5 feet of extensions glued to two inches of real scrub hair. There's nothing appealing about any woman who has acres of thin, broken hair clinging to her head for dear life. The women over 25 who have thick, healthy, glossy, genuinely beautiful very long hair are few and far between. Most would look so much better if they just cut it to shoulder length and maintained it.

by Anonymousreply 11604/17/2011

Short or mid-length hair often looks ultra-conservative, soccer-momish, duncy, ugly, homely, and unattractive.

by Anonymousreply 11704/17/2011

R110, I have no idea why you are railing against me. I said that many women don't have the quality of hair to grow it very long, not that it didn't look good. My hair certainly never looked good really long, but my S-I-L has beautiful thick hair that still looks good on the longish side and she is 50.

by Anonymousreply 11804/17/2011

R116, over age 25??!!!! You are a sick demented fuck.

by Anonymousreply 11904/17/2011

Jealous, gay bitches?

Oh yes, I think you are.

by Anonymousreply 12004/17/2011

Any of you eagle eyed queens care to venture an opinion - is this an elaborate wig?

by Anonymousreply 12105/18/2011

"Short or mid-length hair often looks ultra-conservative, soccer-momish, duncy, ugly, homely, and unattractive."%0D %0D %0D Duncy? No, the ones who look duncy are the throwbacks who think women need long Barbie Doll hair to be attractive. %0D %0D

by Anonymousreply 12205/19/2011

What's up with Will Arnett's hair?

by Anonymousreply 12310/03/2011

Jon Hamm Wig

by Anonymousreply 12405/12/2012

Rick Springfield was on Dr. Oz the other afternoon. I recall he always had very thick hair.

His hair now looks like a cheap glue on piece. The front hairline looked so bizarre.

It also looked to have that cotton candy texture which happens to thinning hair, that's what confused me. Why would a person wear a hairpiece which looks like thinning hair.

He could either be in a bad piece or that was his own hair, with some spray on scalp cover at the hairline. It also looked as if he a ton of hairspray on!

by Anonymousreply 12510/11/2012

Romney has plugs. And wears makeup to make them look fuller.

by Anonymousreply 12610/11/2012

What about Springsteen? Toupee?

by Anonymousreply 12710/11/2012

[quote]Afflect has to have plugs or a good weave because---he always has the same hairstyle for years. It never changes, it never grows longer.

Yep, definitely a two-year-old comment, considering he just grew it out for his new movie (set in the shaggy-hair '70s).

by Anonymousreply 12810/11/2012

Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie both have plugs. Angelina had a hairline revision. Gwyneth just has shitty genes.

by Anonymousreply 12910/11/2012

Richard Simmons - plugs

On his head and up his butt.

by Anonymousreply 13010/11/2012

Joe Biden has more plugs than a bad Cindy Adams column

by Anonymousreply 13110/11/2012

David Remnik's hair has to be fake.

by Anonymousreply 13205/21/2014

I have studied in great detail Ben Affleck's head. That is a wig that covers his whole head. Not only that, it isn't even made out of human hair. It appears to be boar's bristles.

by Anonymousreply 13305/21/2014

Clooney wears a system. It used to look better than it does now, lately he's had the same hair style that doesn't seem to move or change.

by Anonymousreply 13401/20/2017

I have heard that Ben Afleck wears a really good toupee. Also charlie Sheen

by Anonymousreply 13501/20/2017

Also the guy with the talk show currently but probably will not be on for long. He was in movie Hope Floats
