“Republicans who approve of Trump, look at our CNN poll, the prior one, 86%. The one out this week, 88% with Republicans. How about Quinnipiac? The prior poll, 87% approval for Republicans. This week out, 90% with Republicans. If anything Donald Trump’s approval rating has gone up since this whole Epstein saga started. He is at the apex, or close there too, in terms of his popularity with Republican voters, Epstein files, complaints or not.” - Harry Enten
After the Epstein disaster - Republican approval of Trump plummets! JUST KIDDING!

maga before maga existed showed up at a place of business (Comet Pizza) with a rifle to ":rescue children from the Dems."
Fast forward to now.
The orange overlord had a personal relationship with someone accused of this crime and who served jail time.
Now? it's crickets

I never believe in polls.

Those Qanon idiots never cared about those children the “liberal elite” were having sex with or drinking their blood or whatever the fuck it was.
It was the MAGA version of speaking in tongues — gibberish that cements the faith in their religion.
It was always just a stick to beat democrats with.

But this is going to outlast the news cycle.
That hasn't happened to Trump EVER.
PLUS, Trump is suing MURDOCH.
THIS WILL NOT END WELL FOR The Donald.

It's because Republicans look at the entire picture.
They know Trump is flawed but want to defeat the whole woke culture (open borders, DEI, CRT, trans/nonbinary) and Trump is making it all happen.
The problem with today's Democrats is, they're always trying to find that "perfect" candidate and if they find a flaw in someone, they hold it against them, regardless of what that person can accomplish for them.

Cool now take that percentage, say the 88%, and divide it by the actual percentage of people in the country identifying as GOP, registered as GOP, or voting as GOP. All polls are bullshit. The models are outdated, and the sample sizes are laughably small. I can't believe this still has to be explained in 2025.

I’m skeptical - and Harry overdramatizes these things as his livelihood.
What days’ range were those two polls taken? This new phase of Trump-Epstein shit really only got active in the news on Tues-Wednesday (7/15-7/16). I believe the Quinnipiac one was July 10-14.
Always check the fine print…

ya mean like President Biden who decisively won the nomination as a moderate right leaning democratic party member who DECISIVELY won the nomination in 2024 only to be removed when the donor class gave him his marching orders?
THAT FAR LEFT LEANING??????

Following on R10… the other poll, CNN-SSRS, was conducted July 10-13. This new level of Trump-Epstein mess and drama kicked into gear July 15-16.
So in essence, Harry is squawking about already-obsolete polling data here, if he is purporting to answer the question, “Is this new Epstein stuff affecting Trump’s approval rating?” It’s bullshit. Surely he knows it is. The honest answer would be “too soon to say.”
Trust none of it without checking the specs. And even then stay skeptical; R7 is correct about the messy modeling and small sample sizes in many cases.

Whatever Trump does, or has done in the past, is AOK by at least 4 in 10 Americans. That never changes, or ever will.
If he is "brought down," however that happens, 4 in 10 Americans will still believe he was the victim.
(I saw this happen to Nixon after 1974).

r30, his victimization by 12-year-old girls who implored him to rape them because he was a STAR will go down in political history.

Polls need modern updating. I just don’t trust any of them anymore. I trust my anecdotes more than polls these days. I talk to a lot of people.
With that being said, this is Epstein thing is not going to just disappear. I think that’s why Trump looks so horrible lately, like really bad. Uglier than usual, almost sickly. He knows. It ain’t going away bitch and those who value the truth love it.
