I’m not reading anything when the title starts with “a course on…”
Pretentious twaddle.

I had a casual friend in SF back in the mid ‘90s. He was tall, muscular, handsome and self-absorbed. He was also a bit snobby and pretentious.
I remember him telling me about kicking a date out of his apartment after the date did something unforgivably rude. I was seriously concerned. What was so awful? It turned out the date noticed all the self-help books, especially A Course I Miracles.
He asked my friend: “Well, are you miraculous yet?
My friend was furious. He had no sense of humor about himself. Date night ended abruptly.
As he was recounting this to me, I had to stifle hysterical laughter lest he put an end to me as well.

What is it about OP? I've heard it's like AA, a bit cultish.

No, I had a therapist who recommended it - and I think started a book club on it - back in the early 90s. I bought a copy and it remains unread on my bookshelf. Is it still a thing? It seems like many of the people who would have turned to it now have access to all the new therapeutic approaches developed since then, especially for complex trauma issues, to whom this book would have appealed, but maybe I'm just projecting from my own case
