Prolific songwriter with wife Marilyn - he was 99.
Has anyone checked in on Barbra?

I had to look at a few links before picking the Billboard one, unfortunately some other news platforms picked some, um, unflattering photos of the deceased.

It's a shame when young folks die in their prime

4 days ago Barbra posted a promo for an Alan Bergman 100 birthday concert planned for September.

I guess it's best not to prematurely celebrate someone's 100th birthday

How come she’s only at the celebration on VIDEO? Can get her fat can out of the house to be there in person, R10?

He also gave us The Blonde In The Thunderbird. At least he didn't design the costumes.

This past Monday, I was listening to Streisand's album "What Matters Most" from 2011, the tribute album to the Bergmans (one of my favorite albums by her). I was wondering if he was still with us, and Googled him. Sure enough, I came across Streisand's post about his upcoming 100th birthday celebration in September and got that 'weird feeling' that he would die very soon - same feeling I got when I saw Betty White's '100th Birthday Tribute' on PEOPLE Magazine's cover right after Christmas. It's a weird feeling I can't explain when I know someone will die very soon. Sad, but not shocked, to see this news today.

[quote] He also gave us The Blonde In The Thunderbird.
The Emmy Award-winning writing/composing team of Ken and Mitzie Welch gets the credit for 'The Blonde in the Thunderbird'.

He was within two months of turning 100.

Far too young to be taken from us.

R24 Exactly - and they were already planning a big 100th Birthday celebration for him. Just like when PEOPLE was rolling out the 'tribute' magazine to White a month before her 100th. I know these things have to be planned in advance, but...
