Why don't photos show up anymore from imgbb?

Yeah, i noticed that too last night when I uploaded a pic of RDJ and the pic didn't come up. That sucks.

It think the pic hosting site went pay-for-use. It no longer uploads any photos, for me.

R2, the site still uploads free photos -- I just tried it. They just don't directly link as photos on DL now -- you have to click on them to see what they are.

Are there any other photo sites that will show up directly here?

It's the same thing that's happening to youtube video links.

Imgbb hasn't worked for me for a while. I know of no alternatives.

I just used an alternate image hosting service called "imgbox" to post a photo on another thread, and it worked, with the image showing up in the DL preview link.

I'd previously seen "imgbox" in other users' posts on DL

I may be wrong, but it appears that you have to have the image stored on your computer or device, as I didn't see an option for you to put a URL in for the photo like one has the option of doing at "imgbb." .. They also ask you at imgbox to classify the photo as being either family safe content or adult content.

It’s a DL issue. Just like with YouTube now. I’m thinking the traffic here must have gotten higher.

One day they show, the next day they may not show. Who knows? Don't know.

Ok, so you are using a hyperlink instead of an image stored on your computer.

That might be the problem.

ImgBB link images display on other sites.Perhaps Muriel has run out of data storage, spending all her money on cheap chanti and Puerto Rican boi whores. She wants to make DL even more monotonous and tiresome then it all ready is. Along with her elimination of yearly fees the old slag appears to be in a graveyard spiral.

PLEZ BARBARA PLEZ! this glitch happens like clockwork and resolves itself.

I just posted a Youtube link in another thread and it didn't come up with a picture, just the link.

This seems to be affecting a few of us, while others aren't having problems.

R31 Anyone who doesn't want to see the preview images associated with links can easily go to their DL settings page and uncheck the "Show Link Previews" box.

I am able to see some imgbb pics and youtube thumbnails, but not others.

R42 I hope you didn't think I was being indignant. I opted to mention this, because over the last couple of months, I've encountered a few posters who weren't aware of this setting. They were the opposite, though, and didn't understand why they couldn't see the previews photos. .. No offense on my part intended.

R40 I wasn't suggesting that was the problem. My post was only meant for those who may not be aware of how to turn the previews off, if for some reason, they don't want to see them. .. My feed is exactly like yours. My show preview links is checked, yet I'm not seeing all imgbb and youtube links. I will say, though, that as time goes on, the number of "no shows" on img.bb appears to be increasing. It was like 25% a week ago, and now it seems well over 50%.
