I've seen some complete nut jobs pretend to be British in the H&M threads (they never get it right) but otherwise have no idea what you're talking about. Where are all these threads about Adele or the Beckhams?

I've known many gay white men who are Anglophiles. Two of my grandparents were born in Ireland, so I've never gotten the attraction, but there it is.

Perhaps because OP is the poster who started the thread in which he lambasted 11 year old Harper Beckham for being fat. Most of the posters in the thread didn't take too kindly to him roasting an 11 year old child for being overweight. He/it is equating all the posters as "fraus" for taking him to task for being an absolute cunt.

I don't care about Megan Markle or Harry one way or another. And I go out of my way to stay OFF those threads. I've even posted threads asking WTF with all the Megan & Harry & BRF threads.

So, in answer to your question, no. I'm just a plain old, average DL'er.

Royalists are inherently conservative by nature. They show up in other threads but not about the BRF. They're a big part of the trans hate brigade and a lot of MAGA overlap too.

If you go out of your way to avoid those threads, r9, why do you presume who's posting and what's going on in them?

I'm not "presuming" anything. The OP sounded like the jerk who started the thread about Harper Beckham (whose name I'd never heard before the thread), which I visited because I thought it was really tasteless he was roasting an 11 year old girl for being fat, and I said so in that thread.

I watched the thread for awhile, and most people agreed that it was in very poor taste that he was criticizing her. I finally clicked the eye to get it out of my watched threads. This morning when I read this thread and the OP's post with it, I clicked ignore on him, suspecting he was one and the same (originator of the HB thread from yesterday), and sure enough, it was him.

So, I responded to this thread with that fact, and to remind him that just because people disagree with him and his poorly chosen threads to author, doesn't make them "fraus." And that he still needs to choose better topics and generally stop being a repugnant ass.

R12 is one of these Anglophile fraus. An innocuous thread about the Beckhams' ugly fat kid was invaded by them, all defending the family and this gross child. There's a long tradition on DL of bitching about the children of celebs but these grannies were all outraged. I doubt we'd have seen the same energy if it was North West or Blue Ivy.

These fraus all adore Camilla Parker Bowles which tells you everything you need to know. You'd be hard pressed to find a British person under 60 who likes Charles and his reptilian consort, but these American women do.

They pretend to be Brits and yell at other posters for knowing nothing about the UK, then you notice they're using American spelling.
