Trump Organization GUILTY on 17 counts of tax fraud

Whoops ! Not a great day to be a Trump.

A jury found two corporate entities at the Trump Organization GUILTY on all 17 counts of tax fraud this afternoon, including charges of conspiracy and falsifying business records. The verdict in NY state court was reached after 10 hours and 2 days of deliberation. Sentencing is to be held on January 13, and Trump Organization can face up to $1.6 M in fines.

Trump (who was not on trial) blasted the verdict as a part of a Democrat-led “MANHATTAN WITCH HUNT!”

“ No one, save for Weisselberg, is going to prison. No one is putting a padlock on Trump Tower or forcing the company out of business. And a potential $1.6 million fine is a rounding error”

This is the investigation that Bragg wanted to shut down.

All eyes are now on Trish James’ civil suit.

Let us hope every one of his legal cases go this way !!!!

While this is a humiliation for Dump and a good sign for the other legal actions against him (that is, a jury voted to convict)--$1.6 million seems like peanuts. He paid out $25 million in that Trump University lawsuit. He could probably grift $1.6 million off the rubes after a few rallies.

Yep, I wish it was a bigger fine, but that said, finding a corporation guilty on multiple accounts pretty much sinks it in terms of the banking world ever giving them a loan. As well as any time of investors in their properties. And, now the IRS can start their own investigation to loss of income based on the criminal status.

I've seen Trump dodge too many investigations. I gave up hope years ago.
