What Till Your Father Gets Home!

Do any dataloungers remember this little ditty. It was on at such an odd time 7pm or 7:15pm. The show was a bit above my head in 1973 being that I was only 7 years old but even as a little kid I enjoyed the open/closing. Something about this show SO reminds me of All In The Family.

Sorry, I should have put the opening first.

Yes, I remember. I was born in 1967. I was intrigued, liked the opening, but didn’t quite understand it. Also, my mother often used the ‘wait until your father gets home” line (when she wasn’t making fake phone calls to his office to tell him what I had done).

OP you're the exact same age as my mother (c/o 1984, I assume). Thank you for proving me right, it is, in fact, possible for people that age to know how to properly share YouTube links and function on the internet without assistance.

She has no excuse. None.

Ah yes, I remember it well.

It was inspired by a segment of Love American Style, in which Tom Bosley played the same lead character.

The wife in the curlers in the left top floor window- something about that conveys loneliness.
