Fanciest Hotels in New York

My super rich friend from Ireland (circumcised) is coming to visit me. He has a 7 figure job at his mom's company so money is no object to him. He's too snobby to stay at my place so he'll be booking a hotel suite. I'll have my name on the room as a guest so I'm looking for something fun, maybe with an indoor pool. What do you recommend?

Hotel Carter, but nice try on relaying a fictional scenario.

If you were a true New Yorker, you would know the fanciest hotels in your city.

The Marmara Park Avenue

The Chatwal

Both five star with a pool.

Irish and circumcised. As if he wasn't cursed enough.

I’ve always been curious about the mandarin oriental with views of Central Park. For some reason, rich and famous like The Mark but other than discretion it has no excitement and is in a mediocre location with no views. I’ve found insanely expensive hotels to be a disappointment except for resorts. In most cities, it’s still a box of a room which doesn’t feel that different between $500 and $1,000/night.

Ritz-Carlton on Central Park South, get a room with a view of the park.

r8 He's only coming for a long weekend so I don't care much about the views.

I learned years ago on Datalounge that the most exclusive and expensive hotels in NYC are hidden and so are known only to the super-elites. The buildings are somehow masked from the hoi polloi by means of Romulan cloaking devices.

The worst part is that the Irish need every little millimeter of penis they have. Cutting a part would make them need to carry a magnifying glass with them.

Also, a nice hotel bar would be a plus for him for obvious reasons. He's going to some rave in Miami for a week after NY but I think he's getting an AirBnB there.

r8 Pretty amazing views though

[quote] "He's only coming for a long weekend so I don't care much about the views."

This is all bullshit anyway, but for the sake of mentioning it: even if I'm not spending excessive time in the suite, I want the views if I can afford them.

The Pierre.

Waldorf, ask for the Duke and Duchess of Windsor suite.

You guys are suckers who will respond to any troll as long as the topic is NYC.
