Ellen was not invited - it's a small, family affair.
Do we think Steve Martin will be invited?
Do we think she's being buried or cremated?

"Being" cremated?
by Anonymous | reply 1 | August 18, 2022 8:51 PM |
She is being cremated and her ashes will be shot into space.
I haven't been following Anne Heche for a long time. I had no idea she used to date Steve Martin. I honestly can't see those two as a couple.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | August 18, 2022 9:07 PM |
There's no funeral because she faked her death!
by Anonymous | reply 3 | August 18, 2022 9:10 PM |
She taught Martin to play banjo.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | August 18, 2022 9:11 PM |
She was born a poor, black child.

[quote] I had no idea she used to date Steve Martin.
From Steve Martin's Bowfinger (1999) IMDB trivia page:
[quote] The character of Daisy (played by Heather Graham) is a thinly veiled jab at Anne Heche. Like Daisy, Heche is from Ohio, and, also like Daisy, Heche was briefly romantically involved with a significantly older man, Steve Martin. Daisy's last lines about being involved with "the most powerful lesbian in Hollywood" are a reference to Heche's relationship at the time with Ellen DeGeneres.

Whats the deal with "Anne He He"? A DL meme? It's not particularity funny...
by Anonymous | reply 8 | August 18, 2022 9:20 PM |
R8 It always makes me picture Michael Jackson singing the name. "Anne HEE HEE!"
by Anonymous | reply 9 | August 18, 2022 9:24 PM |
R8, someone misspelled "Anne Heche" or spelling autocorrect changed it to "Anne He He", just like "Jackie Onassis" became "Jackie On Assistance". I also don't think "Anne He He" is particularly funny and wish it would go away but it won't.
Thanks for the background info about Anne and Steve Martin's relationship.

Where will the car be buried?

Anne He he is hilarious.

"cremated? "
🤔
I mean, isn't she?... Um, wasn't she? Oh, nevermind
by Anonymous | reply 14 | August 18, 2022 9:35 PM |
I like Anne He He as well.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | August 18, 2022 9:55 PM |
Ellen is a cold ass cunt!
by Anonymous | reply 16 | August 18, 2022 9:59 PM |
^ No love for Ellen, but if one of my exes from 20 years ago died, I can't say that I wouldn't react the same way
by Anonymous | reply 17 | August 18, 2022 10:28 PM |
If a Anne He he is cremated should we call her Anne Twice Baked Potato?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | August 18, 2022 11:17 PM |
Will Lindsey Buckingham be in attendance?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | August 18, 2022 11:26 PM |
Anne He He is hilarious. Bunch of fucking old woman scolds.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | August 18, 2022 11:29 PM |
It's not hilarious. Nor is the dumb joke about Ellen not invited. Wit of a twat with an IQ of 85.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | August 18, 2022 11:37 PM |
All people who think Anne He He is funny are now being blocked. Take that.

R10 has stated her boundaries. And has marked them with her cunt spray.

I DEMAND to speak to the manager, R23.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | August 18, 2022 11:43 PM |
If you create a DL meme it should be funny. Jackie on Assistance is. Bearking was funny for the first 3 times. Anne HeHe is not.

^ The boss of all things funny has spoken 😂

R27 = Obviously THE AUTHORITY on DL humor
However, R27 might want to differentiate between DL memes and DL "Straining with Self-Promotion Faux-Memes."
Nothing, at this point, remains "funny" about Anne Heche's demise. The humor has flamed out. Except when a brilliant poster posts.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | August 19, 2022 12:08 AM |
R27 is even more lifeless than Anne He he
by Anonymous | reply 31 | August 19, 2022 12:26 AM |
Wow, okay cunts. I thought Anne He He was mildly funny in the tradition of Brendad Ickson. But I guess you all told me! I'll just go fuck off, then.

Is it common to send out invitations to funerals? Isn’t it customary to notify family and friends and announce the funeral in an obituary or notice in a newspaper or through a church or mortuary?
by Anonymous | reply 39 | August 19, 2022 2:38 AM |
This thread took a turn!
by Anonymous | reply 40 | August 19, 2022 3:10 AM |
Will the crisps at the wake be BQ, or Plain?
by Anonymous | reply 41 | August 19, 2022 6:24 AM |
R39, now it's more common to just tell family and friends whom you want to attend the funeral that the person has passed away and give them the time and place of the funeral. Then you publish an obituary after the funeral service has taken place. I really doubt people send out invitations.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | August 19, 2022 8:08 AM |
Calling distance relatives to tell them there is a funeral and effectively an invitation.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | August 19, 2022 9:05 AM |
in my family there is a difference between a funeral and a memorial. The memorial can even be a different day, to accommodate people who travel and work.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | August 19, 2022 9:07 AM |
There was some funeral that was taking tickets recently.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | August 19, 2022 9:37 AM |
My point is in the past it was common for the date, time and the church where the funeral service would be held were announced in the obituary and whoever wanted to attend would. Now, more and more people want only closest family and friends to attend the funeral so they give that info privately.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | August 19, 2022 2:44 PM |
People don't need Wanda just showing up to eat all the food, or Fishbone playing his old tricks.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | August 19, 2022 2:49 PM |
The idea that autocorrect turned heche into hehe in a thread about a ghastly, fatal accident is so incongruous as to be funny.
It really is!
