And, none of them are any good. I remember Oprah, Sally, Phil, Montel, Jenny, Ricki, even Jerry.

R1 what don't you like about "The View"?

R2 I used to like it, I just don't find the hosts appealing anymore. I haven't watched a full episode since Barbara retired.

Do we know how much Drew Barrymore is getting paid for her continually sinking ship?

The View illustrates why women shouldn't have opinions

Barbara knew how to create chemistry with the panel. Anytime the original four get together, regardless of how they feel about each other, there's something there that just clicks. It was the same with the Whoopi, Joy, Sherri and Elizabeth grouping as well.

The new producer seems to be solely interested in generating controversy and buzz. And for a show that claims to be about all views, it's sorely lacking when it comes to discussing anything of substance outside of black/white racial issues.

If Barbara knew on thing, it was chemistry.

Barbara was effective because she was a Producer in the host's chair. When she did speak up, it would force others to listen because she was one of the bosses. Now it's a fight between the off air producers probably pleasding with the more established hosts to keep it on track. But Whoopi and Joey do a really decent jobs as leads, it still doesn't match the few times Wawa Walters would jump in to redirect them when needed.
