It's good on eggs, sandwiches, any meats, as a salad dressing, a dip for veggies. A base for tuna salad. I can't get enough. Any chimichiurri tips or memories?
I can't stop eating chimichiurri. It's so damn good.

Can you just buy it?

Did you prepare it yourself ?

I make it myself. Purists say don't use a food processor, I say they are crazy,

I make it with parsley, olive oil, hot pepper flakes, and garlic. Whiz it up and its fantastic. I even froze some in muffin tins to make little circular portions to have with steak but also great with chicken or pork chops!

I make it, using a hand blender. I think it's terrible if you don't blend the ingredients into an actual sauce. I have seen many where it's just an oil with herbs floating in it, and that's not very tasty.
I make it in batches, and then I put small tubs of it in the freezer, and one in the fridge.
I find my homemade version way better than store bought.
It's fairly simple to make, but your ratios and choices of ingredients will result in different flavor and consistency.
I typically put the following into my hand blender:
Salt, red onion, parsley, cilantro, garlic, Thai chili or jalapeno, red wine vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice.

Love a good chimichiurri.
Trader Joe's sells a meat marinaded in it that you cook and serve.
I've never found one that tastes as good as that one. Is their sauce as good as the one in the meat package, r2?

Chimichurri has to be fresh. Never bottled.

Op, didn’t you hear? Recent studies show chimichiurri causes cancer. I hope you survive.

Is it different than persillade?

I like it heavy on the chimmi and less on the churri.

R6, gremolata is something different: lemon zest, parsley, garlic, S&P.

chimichurri memories? Seriously, OP?

Pesto is a paste made in a mortar and pestle with basil and cheese in it, chimichurri is an oil based condiment that never sees a mortar or blender.

R23, wrong. You hand blend the chimi or else it's terrible.
