TGI Friday's 9 Layer Dip was pretty popular when I worked there back in the 90's. This recipe is close from what I recall, but I don't remember them seasoning the sour cream like it describes here. The one thing I do remember is they used canned refried beans mixed with bacon grease along with crumbled bacon for the base of it.
