It’s bad if ”car” is how you refer to your butthole.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | August 14, 2022 3:59 PM |
It’s a Honda.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | August 14, 2022 4:00 PM |
I have stopped washing my pussy 15 years ago.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | August 14, 2022 4:04 PM |
You’ve actually named your butthole “Honda”?
by Anonymous | reply 4 | August 14, 2022 4:05 PM |
OP- I've had my Volkswagen Rabbit since March 2009. I've NEVER washed it.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | August 14, 2022 4:11 PM |
I haven’t ever washed a car! That’s what the chauffeur is for.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | August 14, 2022 4:19 PM |
The world already thinks you're a geek for driving a Honda, might as well let them know you're a slob too
by Anonymous | reply 7 | August 14, 2022 4:41 PM |
Now you have more time to wash my car.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | August 14, 2022 4:47 PM |
Dollartree has a good car wash with wax in it for 1.25. Want to REALLY make your ride gleam? Wash it with Lemmon Lysol for floors, allow to dry, then wash again with the car wash. The Lysol will lift out a lot more dirt! OP, get your trifflin ass out there and do your car inside and out! A Honda? You can knock thst iut in 20 minutes! Chop, chop!
by Anonymous | reply 9 | August 14, 2022 5:25 PM |
I have spider webs and lichen on/in my car.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | August 14, 2022 5:27 PM |
Keeping your car washed and clean has benefits. First, it encourages you to keep the car longer, because it looks clean and shiny. Second, keeping a car clean has a small positive on the car’s fuel economy-you use more gas when the car is dirty. Finally, it’s gross. If you commute, you are spending hours every week in the car-you wouldn’t want a dirty home, so why would you want to sit in a dirty place where you might be spending 15 hours or so per week ?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | August 14, 2022 5:33 PM |
I’ve stopped taking showers.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | August 14, 2022 5:36 PM |
It’s not dirty. The rain cleans it.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | August 14, 2022 5:39 PM |
You wouldn’t want to look too close at the nooks and crannies, though.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | August 14, 2022 5:39 PM |
R11- It's gross when the interior of ones car is a mess. Who cares so much about the exterior.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | August 14, 2022 6:00 PM |
Why not just take it through an automated car wash once every 2 months or so?
I go to the car wash maybe once every 5 weeks. My car is a dark color and the dirt shows up.

[quote] You’ve actually named your butthole “Honda”?
In Spanish, the adjective ‘honda’ means ‘deep’ so…aptly named then.

I have a 22-year-old little Nissan truck that is going to die any minute now (transmission), and I have never washed it, ever. It does sometimes get moss growing on the bottom of the body, and now it has some mud on it from driving down a wet dirt road. But it lives outside and it rains here almost every day in the summer, so why bother?
by Anonymous | reply 22 | August 14, 2022 8:25 PM |
My car is 16 years old. I only wash it once a year and it actually still looks decent.

@r21, "Only plebs are obsessed with washing their cars. "
Wrong, ever see a car worth over a $100K that was dirty? I'm always amazed how expensive Mercedes and BMWs stay so clean even in winter
I wouldn't walk around in dirty clothes and I'm not going to drive a dirty car. I get it washed every time I fill up
by Anonymous | reply 26 | August 14, 2022 8:35 PM |
How do you keep a car clean in places where there’s a water shortage?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | August 14, 2022 10:14 PM |
R27 - are there automatic / drive through car washes in your area?

Setting aside visibility issues from not washing windows, dirt is an abrasive and will slowly scratch the finish of your car.
Over time as the dirt wears down the finish, dirt will adhere more readily to the abraded surface, exacerbating the "dirt" problem. Essentially, your car will look and be dirtier and dirtier over time more quickly.
Said another way, the less frequently you wash your car, the more frequently you'll need to wash your car.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | August 14, 2022 10:46 PM |
but not if you don't wash it anyway.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | August 14, 2022 10:53 PM |
Honda cannot keep paint on their cheap cars past 10 years. Look around and confirm.
Not washing a Honda probably helps keep the paint on at least six months longer.

I was friends with a woman who was wealthy and lived pretty close to the ocean / beach. She drove an old Toyota Camry. We were talking about cars one day and she said that she had had a Mercedes. She said, in Japan, since it's an island, they know how to make cars for the salt air.
That said, I did have a used Honda Civic that started rusting, starting around the area where you stick the gas nozzle.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | August 14, 2022 11:01 PM |
^ She was lying, Japanese cars were some of the most rust-prone cars ever made

I used to enjoy washing my car in the driveway. To me it was relaxing. Now that I live in an area where water is scarce I wash it maybe once every 2-3 weeks at an automated place. I keep the interior much cleaner than the exterior.

FYI for anyone who may not be aware. Ever see a vehicle with a severely faded, washed out looking paint finish? We all have. Those are vehicles which have been washed with dish washing detergent. NEVER, NEVER use dish soap to wash your car! It contains a bleaching agent which reacts in the sun light. Always use a wash solution specifically made for washing cars!

I also get my car detailed two times a year. The guy that I use has his own mobile detailing service and gives me a good price.

How much does it cost to get your car detailed, R38?

Are you running your index finger along the rims, OP, in order to determine how dirty it is?
by Anonymous | reply 40 | August 15, 2022 2:23 AM |
I haven't washed mine since winter. I have to wash it then to get the salt off.
