Why do tragic and crazy celeb incidents always occur in August?

ONJ’s passing has really fucked up my whole week.

Crazy from the heat.

August 8th 2022:

I have an urge to listen to my Olivia Newton-John playlist during my morning commute. I think about the day being August 8th in relation to it being the day I spoke to Olivia (via phone) after winning a radio station contest for an advanced copy of her album - The Rumour on 8/8/88. I also reflect on the fact that Xanadu opened in the US on 8/8/80. Later that afternoon I learn that my favorite singer has passed away 8/8/22.

Elvis died in August.

Princess Diana died in August.

Marilyn Monroe died in August.

Wow--Rudolf Valentino also died in august.

I had no idea there were so many. Weird coincidence.

I’d add the bloodshed extends into the first few weeks of September (QE2, Aaliyah)

Farrah and MJ

Well, Farrah's death by cancer wasn't an "incident" the way the other ones were.

Farrah and Michael died in June. Somebody somewhere is dying every second of the day. Eventually one of them is going to be a famous person.

The person who said Farrah threw this off course, as did the person who mentioned the Queen )who did not even die in August). Their deaths were well expected (as was Olivia Newton-John's).

But Marilyn Monroe, Diana, Elvis, James Dean, Michael Jackson, and Rudolf Valentino all died unexpectecly, and they all died in August. That's remarkable given they all became cult figures.
