Stars Doing Commercials for Merchandise Product
Remember the days when legitimate celebrities would appear in advertising campaigns for ordinary crap? Was this ever a successful method of advertising? Did people really choose their airlines, sodas, and tampons based on celebrity endorsements?
What are some ad campaigns you remember?

This is actually a good commercial, but the scenario is kind of hysterical.
It’s not like a director (who incidentally happens to look like a gorgeous model, himself) is going to patiently listen to a performer lecture them on how a product REALLY works, and then chirp, “Okay! Say THAT on camera!”

Of course it works or they wouldn't keep doing it.

Very successful campaign. To this day when we think of OJ we associate him with sharp blades and women
