Is this still mandatory in US schools? They used to line us up for the polio vaccine when I was a kid in grade school. They didn't have any of these pansy ass helicopter anti-vaxx nuts then.

Or maybe it was something else but I do remember getting shots and a sugar cube(?)

They did give Polio shots in school.

My son went through a "Polio phase" a couple years ago and I remember reading about it in one of his books.
