Who is your favorite Bond?
Not who you think is the best, but who is your favorite?

Were they thinking Olly Alexander might be Bond?

Dalton had a couple of not-great scripts (although the revenge component of "Licence To Kill" was interesting) and was a (too-abrupt) shift away from Moore, but he had a great pre-Craig intensity and looked amazing during his Bond period (I think he only did one shirtless scene but he looked very lean and toned).

R3 I love the Living Daylights. I just made a post about it today (See attached).

Love Craig but Dalton I always thought was sexiest. Those wolf eyes!

Sean Connery was the only Bond for me. I wanted to be every one of the Bond girls he seduced.

Ward.
Hubba hubba!

I like each for different reasons:
Connery was a man's man. He could out play, out last, and out wit you.
Lazenby was the boyish Bond.
Moore was the gentleman old money Bond.
Dalton was the classy Bond. He fit in better at the opera than a casino.
Brosnan was the elegant Bond. He never took himself too seriously.
Craig is the cold blooded Bond. He will murder you and not think twice about it.

Woody Allen played James Bond, in a roundabout sort of way. He played Jimmy Bond, James Bond's hero worshipping nephew in the comedy Casino Royale in 1967. Amongst the other stars were David Niven and Peter Sellers, whom I adore.

The first one, Barry Nelson. So unlike the novelist's conception of Bond as to be completely riveting.

FWIW, Pierce Brosnan and I flew on the same plane a few years ago. He was such a short diminutive figure, I just couldn't think of him playing Superspy Bond!

Lazenby. Too bad he only had one shot at it.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) with Lazenby is one of my favorite Bond films along with The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) and You Only Live Twice (1967).

Brosnan because he was in the best Bond movie, Goldeneye. I also think he's the most charming Bond.

So handsome R16!

Moore was more of a suave, gentleman spy. One who'd fit right in at a gala event, weaseling his way into the private rooms where all the secrets are hidden.
That's why I like his Bonds a bit more, but a new, younger Bond actor should've been used for Octopussy and A View To A Kill (which I love mainly because of Grace Jones).
IMO Timothy Dalton was probably in the best Bond movie, The Living Daylights, and the worst, License to Kill. LtK was not a Bond movie for me. It was a very brutal revenge action thriller.
Moonraker gets a bit of a bad rep for part of it taking place in space, but I thought it was great. IMO, it has the best John Barry score of all Bond movies.

Sorry,
