this is a GREAT movie. Definitely worth watching. Its slow, like non Marvel movies can be sometimes but a great character piece

I was surprised that this was written directly for the screen and not originally a play, as it feels like one of those plays that would be difficult to adapt to the screen because there are no opportunities to open up the story or the setting. He’s so hot

Aside from his beauty and his acting chops, both significant, I was very invested in his character. Emma Thompson's character was so anxious, highly strung, and unsensuous, as well as looking closer to 75 than the 55 she was supposed to be, that you'd have thought he'd have walked away when she offered to pay him without having sex. Perhaps he saw her as a potential regular. No doubt some women who hire escorts need to be handled delicately and the escorts need very advanced interpersonal skills. Surely it isn't the same with gay escorts and their clients, although I have read that some men just want to be held and kissed.

Interested to hear others' opinions and experiences.

The ending is simply disgusting. I needed to see Emma Thompson's flabby, sagging body about as much as I needed to see Kathy Bates' in About Schmidt.

He's very beautiful almost to the point of looking AI generated. Surprisingly charismatic on screen and genuinely a good actor. I have a feeling he might blow up in Hollywood.

Once you realize he's trying hard to please her because she's a substitute mommy, the movie becomes very unsexy.

He would make a good Jude if they ever get around to making an adaptation of A LITTLE LIFE.

He's like the Irish version of Jesse Williams.....including the photos of his dangly bits floating around out there.....
