Star of the West End's Cabaret and Marvel's Hawkeye, Fra Fee, reflects on his experiences as an out actor and growing up gay in Northern Ireland in My Pride, sponsored by United, as he appears in the Attitude July/August issue.
Hawkeye's Fra Fee 'proud' to play Marvel's Kazi as an out gay actor

Saw him in the movie The Laureate and thought he was cute and a good actor. Didn't know he was gay. Welcome to the team!

Another queen with moderate talent who gets overly tattooed so that the world will consider him an "artiste".

Fra Fee? Truly?

The article title indicates that the character is an out gay actor. That being said, good for him. We need more gay actors to normalize the profession so that he ceases being an out gay actor and is merely called an actor.

Marvel superhero names are wack. Fra Fee? Shang Chi? T’Challah?

Captain America?

Fra Fee is that actor's name R6

No matter how many times I read the title, it doesn’t make sense.

You can tell their running out of ideas to get people to watch their superhero shit. When the gimmick is "they have a gay character" I'm immediately turned off. I love gay characters in media, as I'm a gay man myself. But if the only thing that's interesting about the show is that it has a gay supporting character, I'm not interested. Especially in 2022

And it’s not even a good character. Fra Fee is like a 5th tier Marvel character. Z-list.

The character isn't gay, R10 - he's straight, played by a gay actor.

Hideous.
Irritating.

His character is sorta Marvel's take on DC's The Joker.

Fee is quite a common surname in Northern Ireland so nothing unusual there. I assume his first name is a contraction, maybe of Francis.

Yes, his name is Francis Martin Fee R15
by Anonymous | reply 16 | August 14, 2022 11:26 PM |
Now I really hate him. He chose Fra?
Fuck this guy.

Irish.
Cursed.

He's beautiful and very well spoken, I appreciated what shared about his journey and what Pride means to him.
I thought he was very striking and charismatic in Hawkeye - much more so than his boss Echo who was rather dull. But it was just a henchman role. Watching the interview I kept thinking he'd be a perfect Northstar - he's already got the cheekbones and ears!

His boyfriend?! Is he a gay?

Yes, he has a boyfriend and the boyfriend is gay. His boyfriend is a whore and so is he. Their open relationship isn't much of a secret.

Declan Bennett led the West End cast of Once. He was excellent though maybe not as good as Steve Kazee in the role. You sound oddly bitter r23. Did you get a knock-back?

Declan Bennett was good in The Long Call opposite Ben Aldridge.
