But what would Deborah-Lee say?

Isn't JT too short to play Harold Hill?
by Anonymous | reply 1 | May 18, 2022 10:10 PM |
I think he’d be great.

He'd be better cast as Alma Hix, or as Ethel Toffelmeier (the pianola girl).

I think he'd be great. Bringing sexy 76 trombones back.

The only thing he’ll open for JT is his ass and/or mouth.

Why is Hugh leaving?

Standing room prices will drop

Is Sutton opening for Jessica?

Despite lousy reviews their brining is $3.5 million a week.

Do celebrities ask publications to use younger pics of them? Because that photo is from like 2007.

He’s really talented, actually. I think he’d be a really good replacement. I’d fuck him…er, I mean, I’d buy a ticket.

I can’t see Hugh leaving before early next year. Maybe Justin can fill in during his vacation.

“Ladies and gentlemen, for tonight’s performance, Harold Hill will be played by Justin Timberlake.”

not a Lancelot, more a gecko who pings.

Justin should join Jesse Williams and get naked on stage.

I feel like Jason Sudeikis would have made a terrific Harold Hill - better than Jackman.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | May 19, 2022 12:57 AM |
R17, can Jason sing?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | May 19, 2022 1:01 AM |
R13, I agree.

Another white man? Why are there never opportunities for black people on Broadway?

Andrew Garfield would have been a great replacement for Jackman, especially since he wants to take a break from Hollywood.

Norm Lewis played him in DC not too long ago.

Jackman and his producers have issued a statement denying that Timberlake will replace him after he leaves.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | May 21, 2022 1:07 AM |
I’d rather see ‘Stop the Planet of the Apes—I Want to Get Off!’

Lizzo has been cast to play Marian.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | May 21, 2022 11:22 AM |
He wanted Robbie Williams to take over as Peter Allen. That didn’t happen, either.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | May 21, 2022 11:27 AM |
I know he is kinda obnoxious but Timberlake is a born performer. There aren't that many left who have high-energy and put on a show. Timberlake, Usher, Robbie Williams and Bruno Mars are the few I can think of who are still around.

R28 True that era peaked in the 70s and 80s with the likes of Elton, Bowie, Bolan, Prince, Freddie, MJ, Bobby Brown and George Michael. Usher and JT's initial appeal in the late 90s and early 2000swas they could sing and dance live as a throwback to that 80s era. Chris Brown had potential but he can't sing and also is a violent junkie thug. While Bieber just sucks.
