r17 I think he is decended from a titled aristrocratic family but not in the top tier ? I believe the phrase is he is adjacent to them.I would say as an example his great grandfather was a Duke but he is the third child of a fourth son kind of thing so way down the pecking order but closer to the aristrocratic scene than the vast majority of people. He has the social connections with the upper class but less so the money is my impression.

On one episode, he showed a "real life" photograph of himself, at the end of the front row of one of those cat-walk fashion shows - like you see in Paris and elsewhere, and celebs often sit in the front row watching the models reveal a designer's new collection.

And I believe he's mentioned he was in the fashion industry.

He was extreeeemely thin in the photo and dressed in a man's clothes, though a bit ordinary. Like a loose dress shirt, white I think, and thin-leg khakis. Wish I'd made a note of which episode it was so I could go back to see it, but I was struck by how plain he looked and also I believe he was sitting at the end of the row by himself, with no one beside him, as if he wasn't there with friends (and you usually see in those things - with someone chatting about the fashion to their buddies). And he looked sad, but it was just the one photo so that doesn't mean much.

Having reviewed the video mentioned by OP, I don’t think for one moment it Is being suggested that any service will be gate crashed, but that a christening will take place on the Saturday with the Harkles attempting to legitimise by attending the final ceremony with the royal family on the Sunday. R34, the Sussex saga was very entertaining and a great escape during the pandemic. It reminds me of a great TV series that is engrossing but becomes formulaic towards the end. I sometimes think that Markle is trying to humiliate Harry. I think she probably suggested the stunt where he juggled balls outside her window. And he did the long, terrible travel in New Zealand video, which I am sure she had to sign off on. I think she might have been intending to drag him down to her level as fast as possible and in the public eye, maybe to make him less likely to leave. Or maybe she was jealous when he was held in some regard by the public. I always feel about Harry now that he is caught up in a practical joke he doesn’t understand. If ever that relationship ends, he really will have almost nothing left.

I agree he might be thinking long term and that people will lose interest increasingly but I don't think it's an immediate reaction to now. I think it's much more likely he is trying to boost his income as even channels on YouTube not added too much will gain a certain amount of views as people nose through the sort of back catalogue of videos. Since the cost of living crisis really took of recently in the UK River has uploaded more videos to his royal gossip channel and more often whereas sometimes he used to go more than a week without posting. I think he's becoming more disciplined and professional about his YouTube channel as he could do with the money. Just my hunch. But yes medium term the Harkles are heading for diminishing levels of interest and irrelevance.
