Screen actors and actresses

Look for the actors who still praise the work, even when it was mocked or didn't make any money. Glenn Close, Donald Sutherland, Yeardley Smith (as a producer), Timothy Hutton, Eric Roberts, etc.

The great actor gene hackman had no problem doing both.

Helen Mirren also does passion projects and blatant paycheck roles.

I don't see any of the screen actors and actresses listed so far in this very important list!—

It's a mix. Do you really think anyone takes a role in a Transformers movie for prestige, an award, or because it'll be such a big acting challenge for them? Those are obvious paycheck roles for everyone.

Nicole Kidman is an actress I've always liked due to her unpredictable choices. While she hasn't necessarily been great in everything she's done or made the right choice every time, at least she can say she's done it all and seems open to trying new types of movies and roles.

Why do you think the people producing garbage in LA would do things differently?

I can't believe that anyone truly interested in acting, who studied their craft, would find fulfillment in Comic Book movies.
