My straight younger sister (a Zillennial) has an extremely hot & beautiful girl friend who always attracts the attention of many guys (some of them her equal or hotter), but she cannot keep a man for more than one date or fuck, because she is violently insecure, is a stage 5 clinger, and has no stable core personality of her own. Worked at a large hospital with one of these fucked-up chicks. She WAS attractive, but ... the day of a big flu-shot 'fair' on campus, it was all hands on deck and the rest of us in the department (non-clinical) were asked to go to the auditorium and help out with whatever needed doing. We went. She stayed in her cube the whole time. When we followed up with her later, she had the BALLS to say, "I didn't go because I didn't want all those people LOOKING AT ME!" OMG. She got away with it, too.

The real problem is men look at her and see HIGH MAINTENANCE. I have a female friend who could have been a model and when she goes out. She turns heads but cannot keep a man though she has a lot of dates. She takes 6 hours to get ready for a simple movie/dinner date. Most of the time her dates end up going hungry because they get to the restaurants as the kitchens are closing.
