How is this layered, vulgar, and ultimately lovable gay man NOT the star of his own spinoff by now?
He's simultaneously the gay man I wish I were (witty, fearless, and proud), and the gay man I envision most of you end up becoming (gassy, underemployed, and quick to volatile singsong rage in a caftan stained with pizza grease). He's crude, passionate, kinda cute, and he never wins. But you love to watch him anyway.

Where's the problem? Andy IS a messy queen. He's a bully, and totally vapid. He's also a backstabber, a star-fucker, and probably on the cocaine, too!
Look up the video of Andy crashing Howard Stern's conversation with Howard's sweet young gay staffer, Chris Wilding. Chris had mentioned on air that he thought Andy was cute and fuckable, and within minutes, Andy was at the door begging to be given a microphone. He sat down and got all handsy with the much younger Chris, and they arranged a social date. Weeks later, the kid had to glumly report that Andy took him out, but spent the whole time talking to "other famous people" and basically ditched the kid ON THE DATE. He's a piece of shit.
