What supplements do you take?
Sometimes I believe in them and buy them and take them for a while…then I forget to take them….then I resent their presence….then I remember they are products of an unregulated industry and may well be encapsulated grass clippings…then I remember I should take something healthy to boost mood….
My stack (lol):
Vitamin d3 gummies 1000 iu - Nordic Naturals Vitamin c - Trader Joes Holy Basil- Himalaya Papaya Enzymes with chlorophyll- American Health Cannabis- a few tokes every evening

Like you, I've tried a few. The only one that makes a marked difference to me is turmeric with black pepper, which improves circulation so much (no more cold fingers or toes).

The only supplement I take is Vitamin D3 (in capsules with sunflower oil - Vitamin D is fat soluble.)
I take 5000 IU from the Vernal Equinox to the Autumnal equinoxe. I take 10000 IU from the Autumnal equinoxe to the Vernal. This helps to regulate my mood, primarily. Vitamin D should be taken with breakfast to help avoid overdose, as the body will stop production of Vitamin D once it has enough, so you don't want to spend time in the sun, and then take a supplement. I take more during the winter as sunlight is less effective at vitamin D production in the winter.

I used to take milk thistle, but I stopped because I didn't know if it was really doing anything worthwhile.

OP here, sorry about the busted formatting.
I like to hear about tangible results and money well spent. As opposed to the usual questions and regrets.
I think maybe Vd3 helps my mood.

Daily, because I live at a northern latitude:
- D3 (Thorne brand, someone I trust said they're reliable) every day
- Flora vegan/algal source Omega 3 because it's free of the heavy metals and other contaminants that can come with actual fish oil
Every 2nd or 3rd day I'll take a magnesium supplement, usually on days when I know I've gotten very little from my diet.
I used to take a lot more supplements but have made a real effort to get what I need from foods. I eat entirely plant based except for the addition of oysters and mussels (and sometimes clams), mostly for the zinc and B12 which can be difficult to get on plant based diets.

I big taking two big Krill Oil capsules but then I read that we're depleting the poor krills and we're gonna kill the ocean or something and now I feel so bad... Any substitutes for my blood lipids?? I tried the damned statins and couldn't walk for a while there, so screw that.
I also take D3, K2, Zinc, Magnesium, C plus slow-Fe Iron (I was mildly anemic my last blood test), B complex -- not everything every day but sort of cycle through them. I try to eat some yogurt every day instead of the probiotics I used to take. Sheesh... is it really worth it?

Daily multivitamin, D, krill oil, zinc (until the bottle runs out), cinnamon supplement, melatonin for sleep, lipoflavonoid for tinnitus (not sure it’s helping)

Centrum Silver, Vitamin D3, B-Complex, and Melatonin (not to mention Rx drugs). My orthopaedic surgeon was pretty insistent on the D3 after my shoulder surgery, and the Vitamin B helps with flare-ups of hypoglycaemic shakes (a legacy of alcoholism).

This for you blood lipids, R11. Excuse the French I'm in Quebec so it's automatically giving me the French named products. But this is the specific product you want. EPA and DHA, free of heavy metals etc., doesn't deplete the oceans of anything.

Vitamin D and collagen mostly. I sometimes take chlorella and spirulina tablets but I think they give me a headache. And once or twice a week I microdose psilocybin with lions mane and mixed B vitamins.

I take D3 gummies and a B complex, but I've considered adding turmeric with black pepper and fish oil supplements. B12 deficiency is a major precursor to dementia and it runs in my family so I'm doing what I can to hold it off - figured it couldn't hurt to take one pill a day.

I take an Iodine pill on Fridays if I don't eat sardines or tuna (or some other fish) -- and then also Selenium on Saturdays.
But then, I've had thyroid issues (hypothyroidism) in the past. Not sure everyone should do that. Or even me.

Vit D, B-complex, 100mg Magnesium Citrate, 1mg Melatonin.
Magnesium really stops my leg cramps. In the winter I take a lot of Epsom salt baths as well.

1000 IU of Vitamin D3...
I gave up on multi-vitamins, but several years of living in northern Europe conditioned me to rely on Vitamin D in the winter (since my depression worsens November - February...and it seems in large part due to the lack of sunlight).

An occasional Zinc, Melatonin, CoQ10.

R21 same here.
Also, for some reason in the last couple years, my body has decided to let me know that I’ve had a major chronic slowly-worsening B12 absorption problem going unnoticed for years. Crippling me (a young person) to the point where it’s difficult to walk, breathe, and see properly. So now I have to inject B12 into my thigh at least three times a week to be able to physically function. At 30 years old. Kind of sucks tbh, but on the bright side at least I can treat it cheaply and simply at home.
When I’m healed some, I’ll try to get some tests and figure out exactly why I can’t absorb or methylate B21. As I’m not vegan/vegetarian or anorexic, I’m guessing it’s either a faulty parietal enzyme issue, or some kind of auto immune disorder.

Lunchtime: vitamin D and CoQ-10 (better taken earlier in the day)
Dinnertime: zinc and magnesium
Vitamin C and fish oil occasionally as well; I usually down a slug of low-sodium V8 daily for the former.

I only take what my doctors prescribe to address Crohn's and related arthritis concerns. Currently that includes folic acid (due to methotrexate usage) and vitamin D. During flareups I'm given potassium powder to mix into drinks so I don't have to go to the hospital repeatedly for IV fluids. When my absorption is particularly terrible I get to toss back Ensure like an elderly person.

Vitamin D3 with K2 (D absorbs better with K).
B Complex. Doctor's Best Fully Active B Complex with Quatrefolic. This has methylcobalamin which is the preferred and more absorbable form of B12. Also, the Quatrefolic is a better from of folic acid which can help with several ailments including depression.
Fish Oil. Mercury free and burpless. I keep the bottle in the freezer for even more assurance against burping.
