I'm not Greta Gerwig's biggest fan, but she would have brought an offbeat freshness to the main character that Hillary Duff doesn't have. (Gerwig was signed for this series a few years back but the deal was cancelled.) Duff will probably be fine: very dependable, very "sitcom-y" and broad, which is probably what's called for.

Any LGBT characters on this?

The show was canceled twice before finally happening this time.

It’s on Hulu and I guess the advantage of having a crappy show that is on a streaming platform is that the “network” doesn’t have to commit to a valuable time slot. Once they finish filming, there’s no more expense.so they don’t have to worry about winning that time period or low ratings.

The humor and delivery really make it seem like it could have been made in 1998.

Hilary Duff is a talentless Republicunt, but I've always had a huge soft spot for her. Despite being conservative, she's always been very LGB friendly.

I remember that back in the 2000's, it was trendy for kids and teens to say "that's so gay" as a way of saying something was stupid, and Hilary, who was a big star at the time, did a PSA about it.

Hilary Duff was so excited for the Lizzie McGuire sequel on Disney+ and was promoting it like crazy. But sadly it never happened because the creator walked away due to creative differences. Now Hilary doing trash like this which probably will get cancelled after one season or two. I figure it's karma that she gets for dissing Faye Dunaway and also making a mockery of the late Sharon Tate in that tragic revisionist horror movie.

I find it hilarious how despite her "wholesome" image, she shows herself to be a bitchy, basic Karen. Like how she doxxed her neighbor on social media and actually had her boyfriend threaten and assault him. Just because the neighbor was smoking cigarettes in his apartment even though it was permitted by the landlord. Also, she is so obsessed with showing off her kids and got into a controversy because she had a naked photo of her son on her refrigerator, the kid was around like 8 or 9 which was a more than odd to have out in public.

And best of all, no rapers work on this show

To be honest, at first I thought that was Julie Benz and not Kim Catrall.

R42 she's not a complete trainwreck compared to other Disney stars for starters....

She has tons of fans who grew up watching her, as she grew up, and are now the same age as her or around the same age. And she isn’t a complete train wreck, like Lindsay Lohan, who now most don’t care about. They still care about Hilary.
