I love him! King!
Evan Hansen and Annie ... who's next to switch their race?

I’ve been following him for a very long time. I’m so proud of him. His journey has been incredible.

Yuck. Team Platt.

No one says "slayed."

Not only is Platt fugly. He is also 30 and looks 40. Buy the movie so you can watch him play a high school student until your hear us content.
Jordan Fisher with his flawless skin and perfect teeth is certainly a tremendous upgrade. Platt looks like he probably smells.

You're probably not aware of this but both Evan Hansen and Annie are fictional characters.

Jordan is half white.

Is Jordan Fisher a young Brian Stokes Mitchell?

I saw Jordan Fisher on The View. I was very surprised when he said he just got married, and then a wedding picture appeared on the screen. He married a female??!! What?! I was shocked! Yes, this person standing next to him was wearing a white wedding dress. I assumed the other person was female. I wasn't expecting that especially since I had never heard of Jordan Fisher before.
Anyone else surprised he married a female?

Fisher was okay on The View, nothing out of the ordinary. It's a bit nauseating when someone is only 27 talking about their "journey." Please honey, you haven't had a journey yet.

R9, I was surprised also. I honestly expected to see a photo of a guy, not a female. Good for him, though. Hope they will be very happy.

It’s called a lavender marriage.

I thought he was excellent in Fox's "Grease-Live." I didn't see the live version of "Rent" he did.

He's a cutie and super talented. He won DWTS too. But like all those Disney kids, he's just a little too polished and his 'sincerity' seems forced.

You can say that again. His slickness and faux sincerity was a tad nauseating.

Red flag...He married his childhood sweetheart.

Fuck you're "king" shit, OP.
Aping slugs is not helpful here, Queen!

Fisher ruining that caramel skin with hideous tattoos.

DVD out tomorrow and, yep, ready to grab my copy. There is only Platt and his stronger yet not oversung vocals. And he doesn't need a bizarro pearl earring either.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | December 6, 2021 11:58 PM |
Ben Platt is plenty bizarro. And ugly as fuck. Not many other starring Broadway roles in his future.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | December 7, 2021 2:21 AM |
Another typical Broadway song without a melody.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | December 7, 2021 6:03 AM |
His voice is jarringly flat on the spoken notes.

A famous Lavender Marriage was Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne, both gay.

Excitingly talking about his marriage to Kelly and Ryan.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | December 7, 2021 11:05 AM |
^ He straight?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | December 7, 2021 11:11 AM |
He's married to Kelly and Ryan? Are they a throuple?
by Anonymous | reply 33 | December 7, 2021 2:00 PM |
Platt’s awkward looks and demeanor helped him in his role, though. (On Broadway, he was too old for the movie.)
This guy is too pretty and polished to be effective, and his rendition sounds like something you hear on the elevator.

Sorry, the pathos of the role was best expressed by an actual teen, Andrew Barth Feldman, who took over the role when he was 16.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | December 7, 2021 2:49 PM |
Ben Ross had a much better version than Jordan.

His performance is even better in that video. It’s the last song he sings after the 6:30 mark.

Always thought Cameron from the first "Glee Project" would've been a great Evan. Nice high soothing voice.
