I would argue that societies that have never been truly put together (leaving various groups like us marginalized for generations) can't really fall apart.
50% unity or 90% unity still isn't 100% unity.
Lots of heteros around the globe only care if society is "put together" for them...

If Jesus Christ were to come today, people would not even crucify him.
They would ask him to dinner, and hear what he had to say, and make fun of it.

Yes please r4. You’re welcome to post one too.
R3 one of the things people went around saying last year was how after the pandemic Society should not go back to to q uq normal because normal was what got us into this mess.

The newspaper from the country that went through the Black Death, Protestant-Catholic religious wars, WWI, the Blitz and WWII, loss of empire, the stagflation of the 70s and Brexit is only asking NOW if society is coming apart?

That newspaper, R8, is a loss-making Marxist propaganda rag produced by Marxist ratbags designed to foment disunity and instability.

What is society anyway? It's a bunch of rules how humans are supposed to live alongside other humans. An honor code, a moral code, social etiquette, accept and uphold local laws and rules, contribute for the good of the community and society itself.
However, thanks to the overwhelming amount of media including social media people are aware of the countless rule breakers, like the 1% abusing their control over the government to make things worse for the rest of us. And the ones who don't care about their fellow men, because they are different. No more working together, it's "us vs. them". And that didn't start with COVID-19. In the US, that started with the GOP and interest groups like the NRA creating a hostile environment that benefitted them.
