Female servers and bartenders make more on average than males do.

It's difficult to have a male version of Hooters because of gender roles in society. A lot of men no matter how good-looking would never allow themselves to be seen as sex objects. It takes away their feeling of power. Second, only gay men would be loyal customers to these establishments like these and that's a smaller number than straight women. So less money would be made. Also the men who would take this job may not be gay so would feel uncomfortable being objectified by horny gays. Straight women may find men attractive but wouldn't go to such great lengths or pay to see hot men shirtless. It's much easier for women to get sex anyway. Male porn stars, strippers and OnlyFans performers mostly cater to gay men and they still don't make as much as female sex workers do.

A male version can’t work because females aren’t gonna go see men dressed like that and find it sexy. It’s almost like a joke to them. Only gays would and that’s not gonna bring in big bucks.

I’ve only eaten at Hooters once, with male coworkers. It was disgusting with the nasty servers parading around.
