What did JRR Tolkien think of the Mary Tyler Moore Show?

Tolkien died in 1973 but the show aired in the UK a few years before that. Since there was so little choice on the tv in those days, he surely saw it. Is there any record of his opinion?

R1 is inaccurate as Tolkien was no longer at Oxford in the 70s

He looked at Mary Tyler Moore and wondered if she could be ‘Galadriel’ in the movie version of his novels.
