The NETFLIX / Dave Chappelle / TERF drama
At first, I was team Netflix on this, because I thought it was great that ted Sarandos is creating a template for pushing back against a lot of the trans nonsense.
But then I was like oh shit, wait. If he is creating a template, that template can be used not only by any company, but also against any cause gathering steam within that company.
And now I’m not so sure.

No, supporting freedom of speech is a good thing, OP, especially when you have the balls to support somebody you disagree with. I disagree vehemently with much of what the TRAs are saying, but as long as they are not advocating violence, they should not be silenced, and I will defend their right to speak.

TRAs *have* been advocating violence, R2. They have been threatening women and girls with violence for ages. Have you been living under a rock?
Men are not women. Gender dysmorphia is a mental illness. Autogynephilia is a fetish. Womanhood is not a costume for men to appropriate. Any woman who disagrees with the irreparable mutilation of gender confused children, the appropriation of female bathrooms, healthcare, sports and spaces, the appropriation of female pronouns and titles (mother, sister, aunt etc), disagrees with the enforced redefinition of womanhood, motherhood, female sexuality etc., or refuses to engage sexually with men LARPing as "female" are verbally abused and threatened with violence.

And that's when I won't support them.
