Mr. America - spectacular muscleman of the '40s and '50s - who knows more about him? Any good pics to share? I wonder why he was never in movies? He was certainly handsome enough.

R2 - oh, that's interesting. I couldn't imagine why he wasn't on screen with that incredible physique. Per Wikipedia, it looks like he just got married, opened a gym, then retired. No movie star romances. I wonder if he had any sons and what they look like!

He married his wife Lois when he was only 18 (lucky woman!). They apparently divorced at some point, though. He had a son and a daughter (Carol). He died in 2008.
