I give him major point for performing in front of a video of Madonna doing the same routine. That takes guts. I also give him points for his stripped down approach (so to speak). As a baby theatrical designer, he had the resources to recreate the costume, hair, and makeup. It was a wise choice to go in a different direction. My one complaint is that his movements are very fey. Madonna's movements are quite muscular. He need to give every movement a beginning *and* an end.

R46, I’m not saying the kid isn’t passionate or promising but he should learn to walk before he runs. He had a video go viral because of a gimmick which worked well but with diminishing returns in later videos. That’s it.

From what his Instagram shows he’s a moderately talented painter in acrylics, dabbles in body painting, and can mimic dance moves from a video older than himself.

If that qualifies as a “tall poppy” the. Broadway and the dramatic arts are in trouble.

He has slimmed down.
