No one cares

by Anonymousreply 1October 10, 2021 9:44 PM

I care.

Home-made pizza with black olives, onions, peppers and mozz and of course home-made sauce.

Yum.

by Anonymousreply 2October 10, 2021 9:46 PM

What meds do you have to pop right after this fatty meal, OP?

by Anonymousreply 3October 10, 2021 9:46 PM

2 slices of toast with peanut butter and an orange. Delicious. And I'm too lazy to go out to get groceries plus I'm back on a budget.

That also makes a great breakfast.

by Anonymousreply 4October 10, 2021 9:47 PM

Not that, op

by Anonymousreply 5October 10, 2021 9:50 PM

I had chicken carbonara.

by Anonymousreply 6October 10, 2021 9:55 PM

I might sashay to Hardees’ for cum shakes in the drive thru

by Anonymousreply 7October 10, 2021 9:57 PM

Bargain dinner:

seaweed penne from Grocery Outlet @ 99cents/box

some kind of plant-based tomato/tofu sauce that Safeway was giving away free

pecorino Romano from Costco (big pkg that I keep in the freezer and grate part of as needed)

sourdough bread (part of a $1 loaf from Safeway with a coupon)

wedge salad (from the 99Cents store, iceberg lettuce with blue cheese dressing)

Pinot Noir from Grocery Outlet's latest wine sale @ $5.99/bottle

Not fancy but filling and tastes pretty good. The seaweed pasta looks weird because it's blue, but the sauce and cheese cover it up.

I had an impossible burger and a bowl of homemade tomato soup.

Ass.

by Anonymousreply 10October 10, 2021 10:42 PM

R3 that's what I was thinking too. Your blood turns fatty and blood vessels stiffen after fatty meal. It's partly why some people have heart attacks after a meal, we used to see this in the ER regularly.

I’m making a cheese enchilada casserole. I might add beans and tomatoes to it though.

by Anonymousreply 12October 10, 2021 10:48 PM

Canadian Thanksgiving...roasted brined turkey, apple walnut stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, brussels sprouts sauteed in bacon fat, mashed butternut squash in brown sugar and butter, tomato juice, red wine, and apple torte with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Very traditional.

by Anonymousreply 13October 10, 2021 10:52 PM

by Anonymousreply 14October 10, 2021 10:55 PM

by Anonymousreply 20October 10, 2021 11:32 PM

My step-mother is making us pozole soup. For some reason, she says it "pissole". I actually would have rather had a sausage pizza.

by Anonymousreply 21October 10, 2021 11:34 PM

Trader Joe's kibbeh

Order the sausage pizza, R21. I'll split (the cost) with you.

by Anonymousreply 22October 10, 2021 11:38 PM

Chicken and rice, homemade, “halal” style

I could smell OP's grease from the other threads

by Anonymousreply 24October 10, 2021 11:55 PM

If you had asked earlier this week I would have had a better answer, so I'll pretend it's earlier this week:

I had curried pineapple & scrambled egg fried rice.

It was amazing.

by Anonymousreply 25October 11, 2021 2:36 AM

Sea salt cashews, Zoi Honey Vanilla yogurt, Trader Joe's Irish Breakfast tea, raw sugar, whole milk for tea.

by Anonymousreply 30October 11, 2021 8:56 AM

I had the grilled asiago sandwich Saturday r18, those are freakin' good.

Tonight we had a late dinner so I just made some Welsh rarebit and fried some tomatoes with it.

by Anonymousreply 31October 11, 2021 9:02 AM

I had fried whiting a garden salad with some French dressing and a side of red beans and rice for Sunday night dinner. It was very good and enjoyable.

by Anonymousreply 32October 11, 2021 9:05 AM

Egg and Pepper sandwich. I was almost about to order a pizza though.

by Anonymousreply 33October 11, 2021 12:16 PM

[quote]The wedge is a silly salad. It's built upon the back of the least flavorful and least nutrient-dense lettuce available and blanketed in some of the fattiest ingredients around. This makes it simultaneously the least nutritious and most unhealthy salad on most menus it graces.

by Anonymousreply 34October 11, 2021 12:17 PM

I eat anything and I just won't eat iceberg lettuce

by Anonymousreply 35October 11, 2021 12:18 PM

I had a handful of whole wheat crackers and 3oz of cream cheese.

by Anonymousreply 36October 11, 2021 12:25 PM

Iceberg lettuce in a wedge salad is just a vehicle for the dressing -- it's more polite than swigging the dressing out of the bottle or lapping it from the bowl like a cat. It also provides a bit of fiber (fka "roughage").

by Anonymousreply 37October 11, 2021 12:26 PM

It makes no sense as a salad.

by Anonymousreply 38October 11, 2021 12:45 PM

Is OP Greg?

by Anonymousreply 39October 11, 2021 12:46 PM

nope, because I blocked his sorry ass

by Anonymousreply 40October 11, 2021 12:53 PM

Stir-fried riced broccoli/cauliflower with diced grilled chicken and baby spinach over a plate of quinoa. Also a slice of whole wheat bread with hummus.

by Anonymousreply 41October 11, 2021 12:54 PM

Poo poo platter with urinal cakes for dessert.

by Anonymousreply 42October 11, 2021 1:10 PM

R22 - I'm having the sausage pizza (with green peppers) tonight. Is it a date?

by Anonymousreply 43October 11, 2021 5:02 PM

Me too, R40. Isn't it nice here with him gone?

by Anonymousreply 44October 11, 2021 8:27 PM

[quote] Is OP Greg?

Now do you really think that I would brag about eating food from McDonald's??

I wouldn't.

by Anonymousreply 45October 12, 2021 10:58 PM

[quote] nope, because I blocked his sorry ass

Oh, that makes me so terribly sad. :-)

by Anonymousreply 46October 12, 2021 10:59 PM

[quote] Me too, [R40]. Isn't it nice here with him gone?

I love how the little girls out here block someone and then can't stop talking about the person they blocked. It makes me happy.

by Anonymousreply 47October 12, 2021 11:00 PM

[quote]Now do you really think that I would brag about eating food from McDonald's??

"Do you know what the best thing to order off the menu is?"

by Anonymousreply 48October 15, 2021 12:02 AM

A beef roast with potatoes and carrots surrounding it in the oven, your basic green salad with Catalina salad dressing, and slices of currant bun for dessert.

by Anonymousreply 49October 15, 2021 12:24 AM

[quote] "Do you know what the best thing to order off the menu is?"

If I had to go to McDonald's, I think I would order chicken McNuggets and fries. Though I occasionally feel tempted to go and get a Big Mac.

by Anonymousreply 50October 15, 2021 2:58 PM

A tic-tac I found in an old purse

by Anonymousreply 51October 17, 2021 2:13 AM

OP, posting pictures of what you eat is as trashy/gross as posting a picture of your bowel movements.

Especially if it’s McDonald’s

by Anonymousreply 52October 17, 2021 2:19 AM

I had vegetarian beans and rice.

by Anonymousreply 53October 17, 2021 2:29 AM

Are people like OP trolls?

Because I would like to believe that white trash like that is a rarity here on DL.

by Anonymousreply 54October 17, 2021 2:32 AM

Some WAP, WAP, WAP!!!!!

by Anonymousreply 55October 17, 2021 2:37 AM

You’re eating “a ten piece nuggets”, OP?

by Anonymousreply 56October 17, 2021 2:39 AM

I just had beef tacos. Homemade and delicious!

by Anonymousreply 57October 17, 2021 2:46 AM

I made a late-night cheese omelet and have determined that I will never, EVER learn how to properly make an omelet. I can't fold one of those things worth a damn.

by Anonymousreply 58October 17, 2021 9:52 AM

OP, you forgot to include your extra large Diet Coke in the photo.

by Anonymousreply 59October 17, 2021 11:33 AM

Breakfast for dinner. I had chilaquiles with a small salad and flan for desert.

by Anonymousreply 60October 18, 2021 6:22 AM

I always love mushrooms for fall.

by Anonymousreply 61October 18, 2021 6:58 AM

My mother’s cousin came over so I ate early, like at 2: half a cheeseburger & a few fries & a vanilla milkshake. I had a small bowl of popcorn a bit later (dinner-ish) or else I’d be hungry.
