As a European, one thing that really strikes me in this coverage of the Gabby Petito case is how it shines a light on other missing or murdered people in the US. This guy, the body found in the Walmart dumpster. I love how when it was confirmed that the dumpster guy wasn't Laundrie the response was "it's just a homeless guy" as though it's perfectly normal for dead homeless people to turn up in dumpsters.

i wouldn't take points off because of a partial missing limb. This guy was cute as hell and obviously had a gainful career as an archeologist(!). Something is very off about this story.

My sister and I were out in the desert in Arizona looking for where my great-grandparents had a ranch. We went down one driveway and there was a sign saying, "You have already come too far". Then later on, we met some people and they said that if we had gone down a different driveway, we would have been shot. So some of these places out there are dangerous!
