Other than kids, I no longer care AT ALL about the fates of the unvaccinated. I sometimes think if they could die off faster it would be best for all of us.

OP, You DO know that fans were at all manner of colleges and universities on Saturday? It's called "NCAA football," and a filled stadium is most certainly not unique to Penn State. Check the rest of the Big 10/11, the SEC, the Pac-10, you get the picture.

Was it smart during the pandemic? No. Although as a graduate and football fan, I thought the "White-Out" looked pretty cool.

Here's a tip: This coming Saturday, switch around among ABC, ESPN/2/3, SEC Channel, Big 10 Channel, CBS, and Fox at noon, 3:30, and 7:30.

Sure, let's go to a game! Cram in there, unmasked, with tens of thousands of people yelling and spewing god knows what all around them. What could possibly go wrong?

It's foolish at Penn, it's foolish ANYWHERE and for any reason. Concerts? Stupid! Religious revivals? Stupid! Giant swap meets? Stupid! Dump rallies? Extra stupid!

I had a dream last night that I had to pick up all of those white towels (or whatever they are) the fans are waving from where they had fallen on the lawns in my childhood neighborhood. There were hundreds of them, and I woke up before I could finish picking them all up.
