I don't like the song. I'm not sure what it's trying to do.

But I do think her unique voice would be great on a different song. That is to say I think she can sing but it doesn't really work here.

Cool little ditty. It's very 90s alt rock, which is thrilling for a number of reasons. It's subversive (in a cool way) that this sound is being brought back by two Black kids. Even down to the clothing is very Hot Topic but I like it. Willow's voice has definitely matured into quite the instrument. I remember the mild cultural moment of "Whip My Hair" and I thought if she decided to still do music as she got older she'd try to follow in Rihanna's footsteps (that song was very Rihanna-ish). Didn't expect this, though. The nice-looking young man she's singing with also has a nice voice. He's also got the e-boy haircut that's popular these days, but he's handsome enough to pull it off.

I kinda hope this song (and overall sound) catches on again. It would be a nice change of pace from the BS that goes for pop music today. This song has, like, real instruments, a discernible melody, and, like, actual good singing. Crazy that that's such a rare thing in popular music in 2021.
