If people do not want to be vaccinated they should stay at home. They should not endanger other people at work, restaurants or other indoor spaces like planes and trains. I will not fly an airline that does not have COVID precautionary regulations in place.

Policemen are not Federal employees. The only people required to "obey the president" are those in the military, as he is their Commander in Chief. We do not live in a dictatorship.

Having said that, I agree with vaccine mandates, but they have to be implemented legally. The police who refuse to get vaccinated should lose their jobs because they're not meeting the requirements set forth by their employer.

There is simply no way a cop in a big city Police Department is going to walk away from all those benefits and all that overtime, as well as that sweet, sweet pension. I think the posturing is definitely a part of it. Cops these days are looking for any excuse to band together and dictate terms to their employers.

Unless there is specific language in their collective bargaining agreement that requires this vaccine, then the answer is 'No.'
